just in from the barn!!
took sid out gave him a nice groom..he was so itchy..shedding season is here..lol!!so i gave sid a good scratch!!then i took him out in the arena and walked around to work on responding to me when i say something!! we did a lot of walk halt transition..i also worked on turn on the forehand from the ground!!after a good warm up i got him to do some trot we has a beautiful trot..it is really coming along..i even got him moving forward enough to start some extended trot=)!!and on to canter...he picked it up right away with out to much fuss..yay!!i cooled him out and took him back in!!
i put some hoof lotion on and kept him on crossties while i ceaned out his stall!! he was a super good boy..so i made him a big bran mash!!
wicked day with sid..i love him so much!!

gave sid a super groom today...i hate shedding season, i must have groomed him or 45mins..i gave up..i was getting way to tired..lol!! he even stopped eating his hay so i could keep currying his itchy spots..by the time i was done, i probably could have made another sid!! then i picked out his stall, and cuddled him. there was no one really up there so i sat in his hay and took some pictures...i was going to free lunge him or just lunge him, but i ended up not, because his heel seems a little sore. i made him a bran mash and kept cuddling him..
once i have the pictures up loaded i will post them in his picture trend!!
nat loves sid!!!

Aww. Sounds like he had a spa treatment today. I can't wait to see him again.
I hope his foot heals up real good, and quick. <33 Can't wait to see the pictures.

went and saw sid with mom today...
i only had enough time to groom him and walk him out for a little(of course he followed me around like a puppy dog)!!!
i'm so in love with him!!

woke up late this am..so i only had enough time to give Sid a good groom(shedding), and i put hoof flex on him and had to leave...have to go to work=)!!!

didn't do to much today...walked him out..and then kevin came up and trimmed him=)!!! sarah joan and me gave sid a super groom, cuz he's shedding( there was definately almost another horse on the ground...lol)..he gets his vet check tomorrow!!

so i have been a bad mom all week...i couldnt get up to see sid=(!!
mom was suppose to take me out monday...but she had a funeral to go to, wednesday because of all the stupid snow, mom couldnt get the driveway done in time, and today(friday), mom couldnt because she had to check on her father, he had a stroke last night=(!!hopefully sunday i can get up and see sid..i miss him!!

so sid is offically mine today=).....yuppp my daddy bought me sidney!!! and he was trailered to clovelly this evening..very eventful day for sid...he is completely settled in and going to start his training the weekend!!!
