saturday i went up to kings and soaked his hoof again..he's still sore, can walk now though. i'm going up shortly to soak his hoof and cuddle him. i never got up sunday(i know bad mommy)..i went with biz and her bf and we went barn hopping after the clinic!!

groomed, soaked his hoof, cuddle, and worked on some tricks today. his heel is still sore, but he's walking fine. he was such a good boy, just stood still with his hoof in the water=)...what a man...he was super itchy...so i gave him a good groom, and put hoof dressing on him!!

went up and saw sid today with mom...
i soaked his hoof..and made him a bran mash..gave a him a quick groom(only had a little time before i had to be back in town to get ready for work)..while sid was standing with his hoof in the bucket and eating his bran mash...mom cleaned his stall...what a big surprize for me..mom thinks its gross and is terrified of horses..but she loves sid...she even bought him like 100$ worth of bran mash stuff...all his favs!!she even rubs his face and feeds him carrots=)

well i've been riding 14 years so...yupp 14yrs lol..actually dad met him for the first time saturday when he picked me up..and dad loves him too!!
saturday i rode sofie in my lesson she was wicked
...with sid i groomed him, did his stall, and just cuddle him..gave him lots of treats=)
sunday i took off cause i just needed a day off..sleep in forever..so monday i went up with mom and saw him!!
monday sid was feeling a lot better..so i gave him a super groom and took him out in the indoor and walked around for 10mins or so..mom got lots of pictures and i even think a video(which i will post once i get them off mom's camera)..sid was of course super good..i though he would run around like a dink cuz he's been on stall rest for about 3 weeks+ now cuz he's been so sore..but he was perfect<3...he stayed next to me the whole time, even when i flicked the lead over his neck, he just follwed me like a puppy dog!!then we came in out of the rain and i made him a big bran!!
i'm going up again tomorrow...i'll probably groom him, walk him out, and give him a bran mash!!i'm hoping by the weekend i'll be able to hop on sid and walk him out...slowly work him back up=)!!

i love him so much...i'm kind of scared cuz we have such a good bond..i dont want to loose him...but i do love him tons..and we are having lots of fun. he is such a good boy, i'm learning tons, and so is he. he's so willing! just wants to make mom proud=)

went up with mom again today!!!
it was a nice day so i took off his blanket and groomed him, and took him in the indoor to walk him out...again following me around like a puppy dog, we did some trics to shw to my mom, and even got him troting a little..he seems pretty sound..still i dont want to push it!! i think friday when i go up i may lunge him and do walk and a little trot! the other night some of the girls had him out galloping around, so he is sound..i just want to build him up slow so i can actually ride him... 2 weeks into my lease and havent been on his back!!but i'm having fun bonding with him...
i even did some turn on the forehand from the ground..he did good..kind of confused but its all good...sunday i think i'll hop on and work a little on him!!
cant wait til friday to see him again..hoping i can get kevin up soon to trim him too!!
nat loves sid!!

i am so happy that sid is sound..now i can start working on build some msucles to flashat shows!! he is very responsive to me which i love, cuz he trusts me tons...i always worked on different noised with him...i was tapping the letters in the indoor today so he could get use to that...he just snorted some, his eyes buldged out of his, and he back away a little..but when i asked him to come back he did..and i heald a treat up to it and tapped it..then he was fine...
i love how he follows me around like a dog=)

Mom and I went up to kings this morning before i had to head to work!!
....mom and i brought up newton to meet sid(my dog is terrified of horses)..so he was being super nervous at first and wouldnt go near him,but gradually got more comfortable
i took sid's blanket off, and took him out to the indoor and was going to lunge him, he was being very rude and hauling me around(never wore gloves like i normally do), newton kept trying to come to me, and stay next to me..lol!!
sid was a little stiff so i took him in soon then i thought i would have to(he was used in 2 lessons the night before), so i brought him in and groomed him, gave him a bran mashed and cuddled him and little...couldnt stay long cuz i had to work at 12!!
newton was good, tamsin had gus on cross ties...and newton started smelling him...and then he got really brave and went down to the cow, and was smelling him and moo was smelling newton..lol..then moo liked him, and newton had enough of that!!
i'm going to free lunge sid on sunday(if he is feeling better) to get all his crazies out..lol!!
i already miss him like crazy and i saw him this morning!!

Woot go team When Alysha first got Lacey she had a nasty fly bite right where her saddle should go so she couldn't be ridden for about a month either, during that month they devoloped a wonderful bond and it made it easier for Alysha to work with lacey on her back as she already tursted Alysha. I bet the same will happen for you and your man  |
