I rode on Thursday, and there was a gymnsatic line set up in the arena, probably 2'3. I was loping left cicles fine at the other end of the arena, then changed direction and asked him to lope off to the right and he took off flat out bucking, hopped over 2 of the jumps and ran right into the fence. So needless to say that ride compoletly sucked.And I almost fell off. It was close!
I had a lesson last night with Erin up at Clovelly, and it was awesome. He has alot of trouble lately picking up his right lead, he gewts the left no problem, and departs nicely. But to the right you really have to work to get him to pick it up, and work even harder to get im to keep it. He bucks to get out of it, and switches himself over. Towards the eend of the lesson we had him loping on the right lead for a little longer..and we worked out all of his sillies, he didn't like the outdoor up there first, it was his first time there.So it was rather scary!
Anyways..he's going pretty good. I doubt if we'll be show ready, but theres all summer!

welllll..we only did 2 classes in the show but we placed 3rd in both out of like..6? So that was great, and Red couldn't of been any better.
we're moving to King Ranch tomorrow or the next day so Im sure I wont be riding for a few days, and once he sees that indoor i'll have my handds full for a while. I'll get some pics from the show later!
