Ok So I'll start at the Mel Grey clinic:
Day 1: Red was a freak, and was galloping all over the place and looked like a giraffe.
Day 2: Started off the same, then we got a different bit, and it worked wonders. We worked on loping..sensibly, and head carriage. Also, steering, which is a big issue with Red, at a lope. By the end of the lesson, he was much better, and he only bucked a few times.
Day 3: Still using the awesome bit, some kind of training bit, with short backwards s shaped shanks.
Working on head carriage, and loping. Went spectacular! %110 better then .. Ever!

I rode him today in a lesson with Erin, and it was fantastic, Chelsey stuck around and watched, and she was with me during the whole clinic so...Chelsey..haha..you can stick up for us! We are improving soooo much! I could actually see things today when we were loping..everythinng wasen't a blur, although he let out a few nasty bucks..other then that it went awesome!
I have another lesson on Sunday and this time I'll definatley get some pictures of the new and improved Reddy. I can't wait till the April Mel Clinic <3!

So yeah..thats where we stand right now! ;D

And I did another Mel clinic..this weekend.
Red did exccellent! We've been having alot of trouble with balance and loping to the right so we worked mostly on that..and by the end of today he was loping around awesomely in a frame. Wahooo Reddy.

No pics..mom took a bunch but they all turned out black. BOOOO!
