Hello Everybody,my names Kelsey G & I own a welsh x named Jazzy (Jazz It Up). I got her as a Christmas present in 2005. I have been riding for about 6 years & I have been working with Jazzy,here is what we work on:
Jumping
Dressage
Western
Circles
Figure eights
Serpentines
Transitions
My position
Flying lead changes
Simple changes
Sliding stops
turn on the for hand

Hi everyone, I went to the barn today for a lesson with Erin and we jumped! Jazzy was awesome and her canter was really balanced! I am thinking about doing 2' in the next show...I hope!

Woo souds like its going good!
Just remember, once you go 2', you have to do those verticals and oxars. theres no turning back!
I saw you and Jazzy in the last show, and you're both looking good!

I went in the Mel clinic today and it was great. We did some flat work first and then we did some jumping, me and Jazzy jumped our first plank! ;D
She was wicked! Her canter to the right was super fast.....as usual!But I am hoping to work on that tommrow!
But overall my ride was awesome! I can't wait for the clinic tommrow!

Today me on Jazzy and Julia on Billy went on a trail ride. My goal for trail rides was for Jazzy to not take off when she sees scary things and today she didn't see anything scary enough to take off about. I was very proud of her! Julia and I went up by Clovelly Construction and crossed a road on this fun little trail about 45 minutes long. Jazzy was super to cross the little road and was a pleasure to ride on the trail. The trail ended up behind wall-mart and we turned back there. The ponies we great!

I rode Jazzy today with a different bit, it's a happy mouth bit and she was AMAZING!
She was tracking and her frame was wicked and she kept it, even in her canter! I was sooo pleased! When my ride was over I said ' I am so showing in this bit!! haha

Today was the English show and me and Jazzy did Walk/Trot cross rails, Junior C' Equtation U/S, Novice Show hack #2, Novice Pleasure Horse #2 & Novice Road Hack #2. Jazzy and I did great! We placed 3rd in Walk/Trot cross rails, 6th in Junior C' Equtation, 2nd in Novice Road Hack #2, 4th in Novice Show Hack #2 & 1st in Novice Pleasure horse #2. I was so proud of my girly! Congrats to everyone on a job well job this weekend!

Yesterday I went down to the barn to see Jazzy! First I cuddled with her for like 2 hours, she loved it! Then I groomed her sooo well! I put green cool on her back, put her cooler on and massaged her! Then I put her in her stall to eat her dinner. When she was done eating I put her back on cross ties to clean out her stall. I ended up sweeping out her stall and cleaning her water bowl AND her feed bucket! I was so tired! I put her back in her stall just in time for supper! I then cut up so apples & carrots to throw around her hay for a little treat, I was so tired at that point! Today I think I am going to ride her for about an hour or so! I'll keep you updated!
