Hello Everybody. Today I rode with Isabella on Mav & Steff on Bella.
We rode in the dressage arena. We warmed up by walking around & then I did some trot work. At the trot we did circles,figure eights,serpentines & going across the diagonal. At the trot I worked on trying to get her off my outside leg on the turns & also leaning on my inside leg on the circles. Then, when we did LOTS of trot work I picked up my canter on the rail, then we did circles every where. I also worked a little bit on her right lead transitions. They are getting really quick & she is always picking her right leads up! I was some proud of my girly. Me & Nat are going on a trail tommrow so I will update you on that!

Today was the first day of the NEA, dressage. Jazzy & I did amazing! We got 2nds inour Walk/Walk 1 & 2, & in Equetition we got 3rd. I was very pleased! I will keep you all updated! |

Hello everybody.
Today I went down to Clovelly to ride Jazzy today. I went & caught her from her field. When I brought her in the barn I groomed her super well....here comes shedding season! Yaa  Then I tacked her up English & headed out to the outdoor arena. I warmed up on a long rein in both directions. When she was warmed up I brought her into a little trot. It was nice & forward. So I decided today was the day to work on some dressage . So I brought her to the dressage arena & worked on bending her & keeping her forward at the same time & she did this fabulously. When warmed up at the trot I thought I would attempt some canter transitions!! Surprisingly her transitions were fabulous, she picked up the right lead,too! In both directions!! I was soooo proud of her! I decided to leave it at that & cool out. When I went back into the barn & groomed her, put hoof polish on her hoofs & have her a nice juicy apple with molasses in side. She loved it. Then I turned her back outside. I am going to ride again on Friday! I will keep you updated.

FRIDAY: My ride on Jazzy friday wasn't very good  She was very strong. But at the end of my lesson we worked n gumkana games, poles & bending! She is super fast at bending! I am not riding tommrow, Saturday or Sunday! Pony Vacation ! I a ridingTuesday though I will keeep you updated |

She was really good at the trot..she was bending & reaching under herself! I was so proud. Then I catered, her transitions were amazing! "What did you do to Jazzy?" I love her.... Hello again. Yesterday I went to the barn to ride. I took Jazzy out on cross ties and groomed her & tacked up, I also put her purple,piglet polos on. I then headed out to the indoor arena, luckily there was no one in there. First I lunged with side reins on and she was very good, then I mounted and warmed up by doing circles, serpentines and figure eights. Then Kayla set up some trotting poles and we worked on going over those. After many trotting poles I picked up my right lead canter on a circle. We worked on her right lead transitions for a while, then we cooled out. After, I brought her inside, groomed her, picked out her stall, cleaned her water bowl out & gave her a piece of pony cake. Before I left I said good night and put her winter blanket on. I had a great ride! -Kelsey |

Hello everybody! Today I never rode, but Steff and I turned Jazzy and Bella out in a field together, they love each other! We left them for an hour while we picked out their stalls and cleaned water and feed buckets. We then took a few flakes of hay up to their field,and brushes,blankets and treats. Then we groomed them,fed them treats and played with them up in the field for a little while. After a half hour we brought them back to the barn and put them to bed.
