Maria-Thanks, she is really progressing!
I went down to the barn yesterday and took her in from her field & groomed her up. I put a western saddle on her & headed out to the arena to "attempt"to lunge her, you see...she runs at you! I put her out on a circle and did some walk halt transitions and usually when I ask her to halt, she stop but then she runs at me. But this day she never! I then asked her to walk on and we did some trot. I pointed the whip towards her & said ,T-rot. She trotted right off...without attacking me first! What a mare! Then after some walk-trot transitions I changed rein and repeated what I did to the left. Then, I put her back to the left and asked her to canter, it took a few minutes but she did it, on the right lead! I was so proud, I asked her to walk right away. Took her lung line off her. Hopped on her back & went on the loop (a small trail ride). We were by ourselves & there was some what construction going on, she never spooked once. When we got back to the barn I untacked her, groomed her, gave her some treats & then turned her out in her field. What a girly she was. My overall ride was AMAZING! I will keep you updated

Hi everyone. The other day I had a western lesson with Erin & again I rode Andy & Erin rode Jazzy.
Andy: Andy was a superstar ( as usual). We started by warming up with some walk-halt transitions & some turn on the forehands on both reins. Then I picked up my jog and it wasn't so fast. I changed direction and did some trot to the other side as well. Then Erin have me an exercise where I had to make a square a the trot & at every corner I had to halt, turn and trot off. After doing that a few times on both reins I went out on the rail and cantered. After some cantering Erin said for me to do the same exercise except at the canter! I thought it was going to be super hard, but it really wasn't! He was a really good boy! Some proud I was! haha!
Jazzy: I never rode Jazzy today but I was watching her and this is what I had to say! Whistle, whistle! She is doing really good with western! I LOVEEEEE HERRRR so much!
My overall ride was AMAZING!!
I will keep you updated!

Hello Everybody, today I went down to Clovelly to go for a English for once in like 2 months! I brought Jazzy in from her field & started to groom her & I noticed Jazzy grew a little bit & she did! Then I tacked up English & headed out to the arena to ride with elsabe & Paddy,Jasmine & Billy & myself and Jazzy! I warmed up at the walk & was she ever forward! Then when I did walk circles on both reins & did a little trot. Her trot was so forward & she kept her head really low which was really good for Jazz. Then I did trot circles to both reins & then I did a trot pole course. She went over them really well & I wanted to work on my position over the jumps so her being forward really helped with that so I didn't have to urge her forward over the jump. Then I went out on the rail to do some canter & she never even bucked and she got the right leads ,too! Both reins!!!! Then I did a canter pole course & when I went over a pole to change direction she did a flying! I was so proud,to cool out when went on a trail. My overall ride was amazing! My girly got a juicy apple & carrot as a reward! I'll keep you updated.
