Hello everybody!  Today I went down to Clovelly, groomed Jazzy and tacked her up western. Today I was in the mood to ride outside! I went out in the arena, mounted and walked around for a while. Snaped a few pictures, too!  Then I though "It's not too deep to go for a little trot", and it wasn't, in spots...we were going to the middle of the arena and all of a sudden I felt a burst of extension under me!  Jazzy gets really excited in snow and she flew across the arena in this massive trot!  Silly pony. I took her in after a few minutes, groomed her, gave her some hay cubes and put her to bed! Thanks everybody!  Today I am just posting what ground work we are doing. Recently Jazzy slipped on ice and she is now lame.  So for now we are just doing ground work and bonding! Yesterday I went to Clovelly and dug out Jazzys stall, made her some hay cubes, cleaned her water bucket and grain bucket. Then I have her an amazing groom and painted her nails! After she finished her hay cubes I brought her into the arena and worked on her following me around, I did figure eights, acroos the diagonals and the hole time she kept her head right beside me! I love her <3 I will keep you updated! |

Thanks everybody! Today Steff and I groomed Bella and Jazzy, but there bridals and winter blankets on and rode bareback in the outdoor! What fun we had!!! We did walk trot canter, and the snow was all fluffy and soft so the horses just floated right on through it. After we rode for about a half hour we took off there bridals and just let them chill out for a while. When we brought them in we groomed them again, picked out there stall, gave them some carrots and said good night! I love riding outside and I usually have better rides outside anyways! I have the Lynn clinic tommrow and Thursday so I will keep you updated! -Kelsey & Jazzy |

Oh wow, I haven't posted in a while! Well, Julia and Billy, Steff and Bella and Jazzy and I went on a trail ride. Seeing the weather was so warm and there was barely any wind we went on a really nice trail that lead throw a little river and then up into the field. I was bareback and the ponies had spring fever, but they were all very well behaved. I was very proud of Jazzy. Other than Bell getting a little bit excited on the way back home, it was a very successful trail ride. I have a lesson tommrow night so I'll let you know how that goes. |
