Thanks Nat! I love fjords, too! So today we had a great ride. When I arrived I went a got her from the field. I couldn't find her halter anywhere in the barn so I thought she must have it on. Turns out she didn't, so I put the lead line around her neck and told her to follow me which she did, and she was no trouble. Back in the barn, I put Tessica's halter on her because I still couldn't find hers. I groomed her, and then took her out for a lunge. As usual she starts out trotting, but with a lot of patience, and continuously asking her to walk, she did! so that was great. We did some w/t/c in both directions, and she didn't buck once. Then I cooled her out, and brought her back in the barn where I tacked her up, and then hopped on. She was fine with that. Then we started to walk up the drive, where we met Sarah and Donna, and Carly and Ginger! So the three of us and our ponerz went in the arena where we switched horses, and Carly and Sarah were amazed at how fat Tyra is Then I walked them to the end of the drive way, where we said good bye, as me and Tyra walked back to the barn where my nanny was waiting to bring me home! Untacked Tyra, groomed her, put her back out in the field, and swept up the barn. She sure broke a sweat today! I hope I can get some weight off of her by next summer! I didn't get any pictures because the camera is at my man's house.. I'll get some next time

Definitely! And with Lacey and Sugar as well! Even though Sugar will probably go nuts on all our asses and kill us all. She's evil. Hahaha.

Haha, it's so true. Gotta love grumpy mares though. Andrea, I'm not sure if mom will let me take the car today. (2 trips is a bit much ) We might have to postpone it till the weekend.

I have some side reins for sale if you are interested. They are the nylon ones and they don't adjust short enough for Star. I ended up having to buy leather ones and punch additional holes in them to fit the boy. If you're interested let me know. I'm asking $15 for them.

Yay Updates! Today me and Lacey went to the barn We went and got Sugar and Tyra, and all was well. I started out with lunging Tyra and she usually starts out lunging by taking off, but this time, she walked! yay! So got a lot of energy out of her and got her sweating by lunging, so I cooled her off a bit, then tacked her up and hopped on. We worked on walk/halt transitions, and walk/trot transitions. She did really well. I was so proud of her. She has one problem though. She won't stay on the rail very well. I have no idea where she wanted to go so I let go of the reins, and she did tight cicles around herself? Retard. Hahaha. I was thinking maybe she wanted to be close to Sugar, or maybe close to her baby. Although she's getting used to being seperated from him while being ridden. (Geesh, he's two friggin years old, move on mama) .. I also tried to steer her with my legs, haha, she does move off leg pressure, and doesn't speed up, only if both my legs are on, so that's great. Anywho. So for now, we'll just be working on staying on the rails, and halt/walk/trot transitions. GUESS WHAT! PICTURES! aaaaand me on Sugar! ;D

Well, what an interesting. .. ride.. Lacey and I once again made a trip to the barn. We went and got the ponerz, groomed, tacked up, and went into the arena. I didn't lunge her this time cause she seemed lazy. She was EXCELLENT in the arena. We did walk/halt, then walk/trot. We decided to go down the road for a ride and all was fine. .. until we started to head back to the barn. Tyra got excited and gave out a buck, then took off cantering/galloping up the road. I was hanging on, and trying to slow her down by diggin my ass into her and pulling back with all my might. You think that worked? NOPE. There was no way I could have stopped that fat little pony. She then decided to make a sharp turn and go back to the barn. That's where I slid off to the side and thankfully landed in a pile of dry leaves in a kind-of ditch. I seen her hoofs fly by my head, and hoped to God that my foot wasn't caught in the sturrup of the bareback pad. But, it wasn't. I was fine. Cracking up laughing in the leaves, then I got up, and seen .. well .. I'll just say I screamed "I'm OKAY" .. I ran down to the barn to see where Tyra went. I found her in the far corner of the arena getting a drink. I went to catch her, but she took of running around the arena. I guess she though I was gonns smack her or something. Anywho. I waited for a minute for her to calm down. Then I talked to her, and walked up to her and took the hanging bareback pad off of her. I walked her to the barn, and tied her on where I checked her over, and found a little cut, no bigger than the tip of a pencil on her leg. So, overall, she was okay. Here's some pictures. Sorry, I didn't get any of the fall. Before the fall: After the fall: haha random.
