I'm supposed to have a lesson today, but it's pouring, so I don't know. I'll update when if do, though

Well I didn't have my lesson, it was rained out. I couldn't ride today because I was working. But in the lessons, Champ was crooked as sin! In one I actually had to get up on him and try to get him listening.

After I had all the horses in and fed, I lunged him walk/trot with my side reins, and to my suprise, he was really good!

Kelly, would you mind if I took him over to the field with someone else? I'm dying to bring him over. PM me about it!

Sorry Em, I didn't read this for a while! If Angela says it is alright, it is alright with me- but you need her permission first. He definitely benefits from a run in the field, and is safe to ride on trails anyways- it's not like taking Max! That'd be nutty....

Funny, for the first year and a half that I owned Prancer, I could not find a leaser. I leased her to Katie for like 2 weeks, and Kelly N for about 2 months. But no one really, really wanted to work with her until I found Mel- who i randomly told should lease Prancer. And Mel actually agreed, and leased her for a full year! That was awesome.

Then I get Champ, who hasn't been leased out in like a year or so, and after Sarah's 1 month of leasing I get you! How long have you been leasing now? Since like March or something? There's a 1 year present you know OH! Speaking of that... I am getting your present up here at Greenhawk, any hints of what you might want Champ to get you for Christmas??

Well I had my lesson, Champ was excelent! We did a circle to a pole, first at a trot, then a canter. Ange said Champ has done nothing but improved in leaps and bounds!

He's really good on circles now, doesn't lean, but now he pops his outside shoulder, so that's what I'm working on!

By the way, Ange said it's time for someone's sheath to be cleaned! 50$ for her to do it ( ) or I can (but don't wanna!) or when are you getting back? If soon, you can!

I won't be back for a couple weeks, but I think it would be, ah, good practice for his leaser to do it.

Good job on the lessons, he has improved a lot, hasn't he? In the Canada Show we placed last in every single western class- at the NEA we got 2 firsts and 4 seconds !! And highpoint and Champ for the skill division year ends, I'm so proud of our boy!
