On Tuesday (i think) I free lunged Rudy in the outdoor. He was sooooo cute! I walked him out, and there was a big truck digging, and he never even blinked an eye at it! Then we walked through a big SCARY puddle! At first he was like "omgz lyk my feetz r gettin derti" but then he was great! Then we got out there, and i let him go, turned my back, and he started galloping away! I was shocked, as usally I have to run after him with the lunge whip to get him to even trot ahaha! Then he was bucking and rearing like a bronco! It was soooooooooo cute! Then he rolled, which was so adorable that I ran over and kissed his little nose! Then he ran some more, and then I walked him around with the lead rope. I walked him around the fields and stuff to cool him out, then I brought him in and gave him some treats and hay! I was super proud! Hopefully I am going up tonight to try and convince my father that I'm ready for the show. Wish me luck! I'll update tomorrow with news!

Me and my friend Stephen were at the barn yesterday. Rudy was a very good boy! I got on him quickly, no wiggling, and his trot was nice and forward. He stayed on the track well, and then we headed out to the outdoor. Rudy was very good and I got him to stay on the track. We worked on trotting in jumping position and trotting over poles! Then Stephen got on, and Stephen was a bit nervous but Rudy was wonderful! I was very proud! Then we walked up in the big field, and there was a MOOSE! Rudy was a little scared and started neighing at it, but the moose ran away and he was fine! I was also proud of mself, I HATE mooses! Then we went for a trot, we tried to eat grass but I didn't let him. Then we galloped! It was sooooo much fun! We also walked down the big rocky hill back to the outdoor without any trouble! Okay, okay, Dad helped a little bit. Then I walked him back, and me and Stephen gave him a cuddle and I trimmed his mane up, nice and tidy! I LOVE MY BOY!

Yesterday me and Rudy had a very good ride! I got on him very quickly, he wasn't too wiggly, but he got a little fright when he saw a bird flying around inside the indoor! Then we had a nice forward walk, and he was very good, no trying to chase after Clay! (He loves playing follow the leader!) After we warmed up, we started our trot. He was quite fast, but I just let him go! We didn't trot much though, because I have a sore back from bouncing on my trampoline. Then we went on a trail ride around the fields and such. After we practiced in the outdoor arena, he is still quite dorky in there but we're getting through it one step at a time! Then we walked back and tried to get him to canter. This was the only unsuccesesful part of our ride. He did this retarded "tranter" thing, but he was just not in a mood for cantering! I did get two steps out of him, which was better than nothing! He also threw out two little bucks, but it was quite funny! Lazy pony! Then I cooled him out, and gave him cuddles in his stall! I love my ponzzzz! Love, Sarah and Rudy Dudey!

Today was an okay day. I didn't ride for long because Rudy was spooking alot. The arena was very windy, and he wiggled alot when I got on. Then we walked around a bit, and when I asked him to trot, he took off, and then he reared! It was scary but I stayed on and tried to calm him down. He kept shying and trying to take off, so I walked him around till he was calm, and then I got off. I didn't want to fall off if he did anything else! Then I brought him in for a bit just so he could chill out, and so I could stop shaking ahaha. Then I walked him out to the outdoor arena to free lunge. He was super good walking out there, no pulling or spooking! He even walked through the puddles, I was proud! Then I let him run around the outdoor, and he went nuts! He started galloping as soon as I took off the lead chain! He threw out a few big bucks aswell. Then we played "tag" (where we run around after eachother) and I let him walk around. He was super good, and wasn't at all spooky! Hopefully if I go to the barn tomorrow, it won't be so windy! Xoxo, Sarah and Dudey!
