Our ride tonight was.. wow, just wow! I am so pleased with how well he is going. We had a audience and I think he was showing off We did ALOT of canter work. 10m & 15m cirles, simple changes and a couple exercises with counter canter. He was really good! I am going to get my Mom/Dad to get some viedos of our clinic on Wednesday!

We had a session with Lynn Deturk today. He was fabulous! She REALLY liked him. Apperantly she had a QH she used for Dressage too. We worked on keeping him round getting him supple and riding him straight through transitions. We did ALOT of half 10m circles changing rein. We did alot of bending and flexing. She dropped my sturrips down to the LAST hole (thats 8 holes in difference to what I usually ride in!) It wasn't too bad. Made me really think about the way I ride and using my core muscles and my upper leg. I almost bounced out of the saddle during a 'bumpy' canter transition, haha. I have another session tomorrow at 1:00pm. I am going to try and get someone to come and get some pics and videos of us

Sarah, it was not easy, but I pulled it off! I was also riding in my CC, so that didn't help any. I am using Donna's Collegiate Dressage Saddle today though, so I am sure I will find it 10X better
