well I do DEFINATLY agree that my heels ARENT down...
I just thought I would mention that lazy Ginger wouldn't keep going for long so I had to cue her like 10 000000000000000 times (not really but...)
I will consider putting my stirrups up a bit(they were up when rode Willow and I didnt like how I was sitting or how it looked or something...) not trying to make excuses... I will be thinking about that more when I ride now so that I can improve! Thanks guyssss I will try to get more pictures soon!

Actually she reminds me A LOT of Deets (and Thunder too) ...only she doesn't pound the ground like him. More up and down rather than the flat sweeping action of a western horse.

thanks for all the compliments guys!! (I will be sure to tell Ginger you guys like her! ) today when I was up I took her out side and let her play around and be a horse. She walked around and sniffed at the snow and rolled twice! What a cutie! I then "lunged" her around a bit walk, jog, lope, turn, lope, jog, turn, walk... mixing all her cues up to get her responsive... we were out very long... just 10 minutes or so... I then brought her in and brushed her and saddled her up with Shellys nice, CLEAN saddle! I took her out and we walked, jogged, and loped both directions. We also practised backing up and doing a few turn on the haunch. She was doing really well! After that I walked her out and brought her in the barn to brush her... I spent about 45 minutes just brushing her and talking to her! Me and mother took a few pictures, I will post them as soon as I figure out where they are located on my computer! Thats our day!

today I went up to see the horse! When I got there I went in and gave her another apple! I put the halter on her and took her outside for a short period of time! She had fun in the snow! she dug around with her hooves and her nose... it was cute! She is now a member of our Crime Scene Investigators(lol inside joke!? ). Anyways, she enjoyed her time outside... I then took her in and brushed her down right nice! awwhh, she was looking good indeed! I saddled her up and took her out to the indoor arena... We worked on walking, jogging, and loping both directions. She was a bit slow on the cues at first but in the end she was VERY responsive! We also did some backing up and turn on the haunch both ways... She was good with that! After all that was done we did some lope, stop, turn on the haunch, lope, stop, turn on the haunch, lope.... She did really well with that, in the end you could see the improvement! I was happy! As for me, I concentrated on keeping my heels down, watching where I was going, and putting my hands in the right spot! When we were all done, I walked her out... We were riding for about an hour doing a fair bit of jogging and loping and she wasn't sweating much at all! I thought that was good, it must mean we are doing something right! Today was a great day, IMO! What do you guys think!?

today I went to see Miss Ginger... I took her in cross ties and brushed really well, after I saddled her up I took her out to the arena. We walked and jogged on the rail, did figure eights, serpentines, crossing on the diagonal. She did very well with that... She listened to what would be done next! We then proceeded to loping, we went both directions on the rail and then did a few speed changes, doing big fas, small slow... After I walked her out a bit, I did some walk, stop, turn on the haunch, walk, stop, turn on the hauch, jog... and lope... We mixed it all up which helped on getting her responsive and getting her butt under her with her turns... I then walked her out for about 15 minutes on a loose rein. She wasn't sweating too much again today for the work we had done... I am proude of her!
What a good horsie!
