I went up today and visited Ginger! I went for a little ride! (VERY MINOR!!) We walked, jogged for about 3 minutes in total, and walked again! We did some circles! And then we walked. Then I flicked her off and gave her a pretty apple!! I Love Ginger!

today when I went up to see Ginger, I brushed her lots(made her super happy , I played with her in her stall a bit, and I lunged her walk and jog both ways for about 15 minutes, we are taking it super easy... As soon as she just started to sweat I walked her out and brought her in! She was really good today! I can't wait to go back up this weekend!

thanks Emily! I LOVE THE INDOOR, LOVEEEEEE IT!! today i went up to see Ginger! She was in her stall, looking right cozy. I took her out and got her groom box and brushed her. Then saddled her up and took her out to the arena. When I got on I walked her for about 3 minutes, pushing her into a forward walk, not just a lazy one... We did some circles, and serpentines and crossing on the diagnal... lots of steering work getting her paying attention. We then did some jogging on the rail for about 3 minutes, then again lots of circles, serpentines, and diagnals! After that we walked out on the rail, stop and back up a few times. When I took her in she was just starting to sweat under her girth! I thought to myself, perfect timing... I took her down a good bit ... working slow and then bring her up... as you can see we cancelled out the loping for a while... I just want to take my time and make sure she stays heathly and happy! What do you guys think!?

thanks Gill! I will be sure to check that out!!! Today I went to the barn and brushed Ginger. She seemed fairly happy! I then took her out and lunged her both ways walk(about 4 minuts), jog (about 7 minutes), and lope (about 2 1/2 minutes)... She was really responsive and good... She was just starting to sweat when I started walking her out! I can't wait to go see her again! Horses are awesome!

She's allowed to sweat you know haha As long as you put a cooler on her afterwards and make sure she's really well cooled out, i'm sure she'll be fine

I read in a Horse and Rider that if your horse doesn't sweat after a ride, you could be working them harder. good luck! beautiful horse

yesterday, I went to the barn to visit Ginger for a QUICK hour(I had an award thing for school and I had to be there a certain time so it wasnt really convienent!) I groomed her, she was nice and clean, and then I put her saddle on and took her out in the arena for about 15 minutes... We did a lot of walking, a bit of joging, and lope like once around the arena (I would have done more then a 15 minute ride but I did have any time!) We also did one turn on the haunch both directions! I enjoyed seeing her after two days of being away because of yucky homework, today I have to work but after that I plan to go see her for a while! Anyways... thats all for now!
