she was quite good for me though. i walked her for the most part, her being not-ridden for a year and us getting to know each other. but i got her to do circles and moving off the leg. she is going to be fablous i know it : )

Yeah i knew they where the horses i seen..I think they are soo pretty..I think there owner said sugar was from texes..she is the only foundation breed qh i have seen around here she is a great example of one..that why she looks "chunky" she is suppose to hhaha...i also really like there owner asweell great people

So I finally got up to ride Sugar again today. About time? I know I know. I'm a highly busy girl, I tell ya.
Anywho, she was pretty good. The wind was up, and she didn't really like that at all. Cause she's a huge ol' sook. But everything besides that was good. We walked around and did some circles. Then did some circles and moving off the leg at a trot.

I didn't want to canter her yet. Well I did. But thought it was better to wait, to get more into her re-training. She's very chunky. And needs to lose weight. But when I asked her to canter, just to see how she would respond, she took off (mainly because the wind came up at the exact same time) And she bucked, but failed at throwing me off. Anyways, that was enough of that.

I need you guys to suggest some exercises we can work on at the walk-trot.

I have noo idea. It's pretty sweet. But I find her hard to work with it on.
I think I might bring up my bridle tomorrow and get a bit for her.
Something tells me she'll be better with a bit. mhmmm.

But I will ask her next time I see her : )

Haha, it's so funny how she's cranky at the wind. Trish said she won't even go near the woods when it's windy, cause she thinks there a BIG SCARY MONSTER waiting to eat her. Lugo and Champ don't care though, and they go by the woods, and Sugar's all like "uhh, guys, come over heeeere! *i'm scared*
So yeah. Gill, i'm not sure where she got the bridle, but I guess we could ask tomorrow for youuu.

And yes, the four of us have to go for a hack down the rooadd soon! Sugar and Tyra have both been down the road before, so it's not all that new to them.

Actually she's from Louisiana! Then she was moved to the mainland I believe where her current owner bought her.
