So today was the last lesson before we go and we didn't do to much, just exercises that would loosen her up. We didn't want to stress her out to much and keep her relaxed. Tomorrow i'm just riding her for ten minutes and doing some hacking to relax her and loosen up her muscles, Then at 6pm we are packing up and loading and on our way to the boat I'll be keeping everything updated

So Teezer and myself are offically back on the rock, after enjoying our time in nova scotia for two weeks. We had an amazing time and i'm so proud of teezer. She never looked at anything nor did she fear anything. She was awesome! Now we are training for the Grandfalls show . I was hoping i'd get a chance to go to Crs schooling show but i'm to exausted from the trip . So we are going to head to GFW next weekend to make up for it.

haha ok, um i'm not sure what to tell. We showed in the Restless pines tournament and recieved three 3rd places, and three 5th places, and one reserve which is 7th place. It was pouring but it was still alot of fun. Then we showed at Windsor Summer Horse Show and Teezer was such a doll. This show was an indoor show. In was at the exhibition grounds so the indoor ring was a hocky rink with plexy glass and she was awesome never refused or looked at ne thing with fear. In that show we recieved one 5th place, one 4th place and two reserves which is 7th place. and in this show i had 20-30 competitors in each of my classes with fancy fancy big horses so i'm am extremely proud of teezer and how we did .

Teezer is offically back on a training schedule, so i figured i'd start writing in this again to keep track of what exercises i've been doing with her. Over the next month she'll just be doing flat work to develop the lost muscles and to bring her back into a good condition. Today I lunged her for 30 min. I put on the sursingle and looped the lunge line through the lowest loop then hooked it to the bit. Dennis taught this to me and it teaches her to bend really well. I only trotted and walked her, she was a very pooped girl at the end of it

I really am horrible at posting in this. The last week and a half I've only been riding teezer for 40 min, or lunging her for 30 min. Ive been switching up the exercises, collecting, extending, big to small circles and out to big again, transitions, serpintines at trot and canter, only once at the canter so far. Lunging sessions have been switched up with lunging with the neck relaxer on, or without anything attached, or like said previously with sursingle and looping the lunge line from sersingle to bit making her bend.! She's been pooped after every session and is getting stronger and stronger

March 13th,
Rode for 40 min. Did a lot of bending because she seemed stiff going in the left direction. Worked on Collection and extention at the trot, and large to small circles at trot and canter. She was very well behaved, and was an extremely pooped horse afterwards. Now to survive a lesson with Dennis tomorrow! oh i can hear my muscles screaming now!

April 18th. So Exams are hateful. Unfortunetly lately I haven't been able to ride because finals started last week for school. Tuesday I'll be offically be on summer vacation I can't wait. So today I managed to squeeze in a lesson with Dennis. -We warmed up doing extension, collection, and normal trot, and canter. -Then we talked a lot about the summer . -Then we worked on jumping on a circle. He set up four jumps on the cirlce and we worked on getting deep and maintaining a round and constant pace. -Then he added to poles on two fences in a shape of a V to make teezer rock back on her hanches and jump properly in proper form. Both horse and rider were very pooped at the end, but she was a trooper and did whatever we asked, I love my little mare

April 22nd Yesterday I rode teezer on the flat and jumped a 2ft 6 vertical. First we warmed up at the working walk trot and canter. Then we worked on collected and extended trot. Worked on going large on the extended trot then into the collected then doing the collected on a 10m circle then holding it through the turn and onto the straight then right out to the extended and repeat. Then we worked on the collected and extended canter the same exercise as the trot. We also did pole work at the canter and trot, setting them longer to help stretch her stride. After that I had a 2ft6 vertical set up with two poles made into a V on the jump. I worked on staying consistent through the turn and not sling shot out of the turn towards the jump. Also with the two poles set in a V it made her rock back and use proper form over the jump. Successfully I only had one badd spot and she was very consistent with her pace March 23rd Today we worked on basically the same exercise as yesterday with the collected and extended trot and canter. Today we did not jump. we worked on a three loope serpentine's. At first all loopes at a trot. She is really stiff bending to the right so it took a bit to get her responding correctly. After she was easily doing all loopes at the trot I added the canter at the second loope then all three loopes at a canter only twice and she did wonderful . She was so pooped after that I called it a dayy

April 25 Today I basically worked on some of the same exercises before collected and extended trot and canter. Then we worked on poles trot and canter, first we worked on normal strided poles, then I stretched them out and made them longer. This making Teezer lengthen her stide to make it over the poles. At the trot she kept adding in an extra step but she eventually got it! At the canter she was great got it right every time! Then we worked on cantering canter poles, then going into a three loope serpentine. Canter to trot and canter the second loope then trot then canter and back over the poles again. Then we switched it up and did it canter over poles canter first loope then trot second and canter third and back over the poles. Then we cantered the whole thing! She got everything lead change, and she was a doll to lengthen then compress her stride!! She did very well Lesson on Tuesday !! can't wait!

April 27th Our lesson got cancelled. Boo. But we will have one for sure before the end of the week. Instead Brianna came and rode Breeze while I rode Teezer. Teezer decided today was not a good day for her. She decided to be grumpy and stiff to the left and acted like collected trot was the end of her poor dramatic world haha. So we worked on leg yeilding with contact and with long reins. Then worked on collected and extended canter and trot. After she began to stop being a grumpy mare she finally started moving really nicee. After our disagreement We worked on three loope serpentines again at the trot and canter. Then I set up canter poles and a vertical on the diagonal. We worked on collected canter then extending over the canter poles then staying consistent to the jump on the diagonal. In the end she was doing really well she was like a perfect accordian compressing and extending her strides like a dream. Then I cooled out my pooped mare and gave her a nicee feeding and settled her into her stall for the night
