April 29th We had a lesson todayy. Worked on Transitions Transitions Transitions. Four loope and Three loope serpentines veryy shallow loopes. Worked very hard on counter canters. Worked on an interesting exercise. Dennis set up three canter poles. 9ft apart. We did serpentines at a trot around them. weaving in and out of the poles then back up again then when we got back to the top we went in a straight line then leg yeilded to the fence then into the canter. It was very funn and a lot of hard work. She was very stiff with her transition from canter to trot to walk on the left. She also drifted when working on canter poles to the left like always, but we worked on those mucsles and in the end she was moving really really well! I was impressEDD Another lesson tomorrow

May 3rd Teezer was really good today. After having a weekend off because I was in Grand Falls I was happy that she went so well. Mainly worked on transitions But also worked on three and four loope serpentines. She went really well. Then we worked on canter and trot poles and extended and collected trot and canter! All in all she did really well. I was happy. Plus having 15 degree weather could be an upside Lesson Wed

May 11th It has been awhile since I last updated. But yesterday I had another lesson. Dennis set up three fences on the Diagonal one stride apart. All cross rails. Then a 3ft6 on the outside and two poles on the other outside line 4 canter strides apart. For the first half hour we worked on trotting between the poles on the outside line. maintaining a consistent 9 step trot at first then adding a step and then making her extend and leave out a step. We did this in both directions. Then we cantered them in four consistently then added a stride to make 5 then took out a stride and did it in 3. After a that we worked on the 3ft6 vertical on a circle and worked on training my brain for the correct spot, because I have a tendency to want the deeper spot :/. But at the end of it I was more comfortable with the right distance. Then we went on course. Down the poles in four, up the diagonal, then over the 3ft6 vertical then the poles in 5 strides then the 3ft6 vertical again. It was really challenging and it took me a nice while to do the course decently. It was hard making her come back after the 3ft6 to make the 5 strides in a four stride line, then extending her stride to the 3ft6 vertical. I loved it and I think Teezer enjoyed it as well Hopefully another lesson on friday
