What an AMAZING day at the barn!!! Well, first me and Lacey caught them, and walked them up to the barn. They were very easily caught, and easily led to the barn. There, we groomed them, and such, then we brought them out to the arena. We did some leading, walk/halt on lead line. They both did EXCELLENT. and I mean, excellent. They're coming along SOO well. I decided he knew my voice commands very well, and to try him on lunge line. Lacey led him out around and I held the lunge line and lunge whip. He was perfectly calm. Then Lacey let him go, and it was only me and him. He walked around in a circle perfectly. We only did walk, and only went around a few times in both directions, but he was so good at it! Then I free lunged him for a couple secconds cause I wanted to see him canter around hahaha After that, I hand grazed him and me and Lacey trotted them around the field on lead line haha. We walked them down to the pond, and back again. We brought them back to tie them, and we put some hooflex on them, and brought them back to the field. I'm so proud! Sundance's winter coat is coming off, and he looks stunning. He's so soft. He took the dewormer very well, and is doing good. He lead perfectly. I love how I can climb all over him and touch him all over and he doesn't even flinch. I'm cometemplating not selling him now. I'll never find such a calm pony anymore. Here are some pictures!

Nope, he's not a mustang. His sire is a registered QH, and his damn is a leopard appaloosa. And I got him right here in Botwood. Jigg's farm is all about color. It should be called Color Farm, instead of Jigg's Farm.

Went to the barn again today. He was very iritable, and had more energy then usual. I tried to lunge him, but he was wayyy to interested in what Lacey was doing with his brother. so I said screw that, and we took them on a walk down through the trail. Also did some more free lunging, but he kept stopping by the gate. He's too attached to his brother, and won't concentrate on me when Montana's not around, or at least when he's out of reach. boo. oh well, he was still pretty good today. Doing his hooves was pretty easy, though he is still a tad iffy about his front feet. He is a lot better with them now, though, from when I first started cleaning out his feet. I braided his tail and mane too haha. It was crappy, but I don't care, I was bored, and he was half asleep standing there after all the exercise. Amy came after, and we put them back out in the field. We got lots of pictures, i'll post some later
