Lacey and I had an AMAZING day at the barn today!
It turned out to be really nice outside, all the rainclouds went away and we had a really nice clear blue sky(as you'll see in the PICTURES )
Montana was easily caught, and with a little encouragement (from a peddle bike lol) he was safely led to the gate and to the barn. (he's a little herd bound. MOMMA'S BOY)
I'm sure Lacey will talk more about how well he did today in his training thread!
Sundance was also easily caught, and led perfectly. He's never had trouble with gates, so that was perfect, and he walked calmly to the barn. When we tied them, we groomed them, and picked at them, and made them all pretty
We also dewormed them today too! That was badly needed.
The gross baby fur is slowly coming off!
He did good with his feet, and he can be touched all over with no problem. His testicles are also dropped now (I had a little peek hahahaha)
We quietly moved them through another gate, and to the arena where we practiced walk/halt on lead line. Sundance is pro. He practically walks and halts on voice commands, and is soooo calm.
I also found out that his sire is a REGISTERED QH. Why the f*** didn't I know this before?!?! hahaha, anywho. yes. and Montana also has some registered blood in him as well. Like I said, Lacey will probably fill you in on that in his thread.
We didn't get any more pictures of the foals, there 200 acres to crawl across and to take pictures of foals who mothers don't like us getting near is very hard, so be patient for baby pictures!
Some people also came up to us in car, and Sudnance wasn't one bit afraid. He went right up to them and they gave him some bread. He liked that
Well, I believe that is all! Unless I forgot something, Lacey: Fill them in!
