By looking at the Entry forms, I'm guessing this show and the NEA are two completely different things. Just a few questions on it though. 1. Are there going to be no w/t tests? I wasn't planning on doing them, but my friend was thinking of. I just noticed that they aren't on the entry forms. 2. Are you allowed to do Training Level 1, 2, AND 3 and/or 4 if you want to? Or are you only allowed to do 1 and 2? 3. What is the team competition about? Can someone explain that to me please? EDIT: I have a few more questions I was filling out my entry forms, and I'm getting a bit confused at some parts. 1. Where it says 'NEA Member #' what do I put? I haven't shown at all this year, so i guess I have to sign up for everything again? So what do I do, take the membership form on the NEA show and fill that out??? 2. Where does it say the class #?On the first sheet it says the names of the classes, and the divisions, but there aren't any numbers. 3. NADA membership. Where do you sign up for that? 4. What is the "post entry fee" and do I have to pay $40.00 in addition to my class fees if I'm going in 4 classes? 5. and just out of curiosity, what is the Office fee?

Hi Maria - 1. we decided not to offer W/T tests this time, since there was so little interest in them last time. In future, if we knew there would be significant interest we'd definitely consider offering them again. 2. Yes, any horse can do up to 4 tests, so you could do all 4 training level tests if you wanted. 3. The team competition doesn't require any extra riding - you just combine forces with 2 friends and if your combined scores are highest, you get the team award. But you have to say ahead of time what test you will have count.
Hope this helps! Robin

If I want a team, will all three of us have to be at different levels? Or can we all be doing training level?

Team members can be at the same level or at different levels - there's no restriction.

Is the dressage show being held at the Goulds race track or Clovelly? I heard that they were changing around places!?

I heard that as well. Can someone confirm one or the other, as I need to find trailering, stall, etc.

Hi Maria - I can only answer NADA questions -- for NEA, you need someone else. If you send me an email (robinw@mun.ca) I can email you a membership form. You can drop it off to Clovelly anytime before or when you drop off your entry form. The 'post' fee is a late fee, so as long as you get your entry in on time, you don't need to worry about that. If you are a member and get your entry in on time, you pay the office fee + $12 per class entered (+ another $12 if you enter the team competition). So, if you ride 4 tests, don't do the team competition, and are a member who is on time, you pay $48 + $25 = $73 in entry fees.
Re. class #: take that as test # -- so, e.g., class # = test 1; description = training level; division = junior.
Hope this helps! And the show is still at the Track on the 31st.

If there is a lot of demand for classes we dropped due to lack of interest last time, we can definitely consider them for next time. There was only one entry in the in-hand class last time, so we didn't run it again, but we could do. Just let us know. Robin

Just wondering.... Why do you have to pay a NEA show entry fee and then also have to pay a Entry fee for the dressage part... last year it was just all the one entry fee... it seems a little unfair ... ??
