I THINK (key word there!) that it's because the two shows are completly different things, different people who are organizing them, and different organizations, ex: NEA show and NADA show not the same thing. However it would make entry fees a bit pricey, I'll agree with you there. BTW: Thanks so much for answering my questions Robin

Sorry - these are separate shows this year and separately organized, just linked by the weekend, location and judge. NADA is paying for its own ribbons, etc., so we have to charge the fee ourselves as we are not getting these things from the NEA -- maybe we can coordinate differently in future years. I know it's expensive for competitors. Unfortunately, that's a reflection of the expense to our organizations.
