had prince moving constantly again and he looked 20 times better. reallly is doing wonders for hiim. he was doing beautiful roll backs and cutting movements on his own he's so silly. but he was loving every minute of it. yesterday the arena was really full so i just took the boy to the outdoor. he was trotting around perfectly sound in packed snow so i was like if you can do that in these conditions you can do that in the indoor footing. haha what a star! i hopped on bareback and just walked around for 5 minutes. oh myyy the boy is soo pudgy now i think i may have to get a bigger tree width saddle for him i was soo happy he was such a gentlemen and was just loving every minute of it. some booyy! Dr Anderson got back to me today and said we can most likely arrange something for friday as it's both our days off (god love his soul!) and he can take a look. it's almost been a month sence i started him on his glucosamine and it's done him wonders. i can't get over the difference in him.

What is the brand name of the supplement you have him on? A supplement with chondriton (plus MSM and glucosamine) will really help!

had an aammazzzinnnggg ride tonight. did a very very long walk warm up stretching out and long, then taking in the rien a bit to get him on the bit. did turn on the haunches and forhand a few times to see how much he remembers and wasn't bad at all! pretty decent excluding like 2 steps. did w/t/c amazingly.. on the bit and he was constantly giving. he was crazy hyper (i can see why.. not being worked that much plus the bad weather) but besides that he was a star cooled out and left it on a good note.. i couldn't get over how good he felt and how behaved he was such a boy. he's loving the loose ring french link for sure.. deffinitly made such a difference! Drenched him with cool gel to help him stay nice and loose and not cramp up. he was loving it going to have a couple days off sence his mom is working.. but hopefully one of his aunties will let him out to stretch his legs or something while i cant get down i brang down the video camera tonight so i could get some u/s action of him. (featuring the amazing duo Nickalodian & Michelle Pearce ) anyone SERIOUSLY interested in the boy can PM me to see.

Took the boy out today didnt ride as i didnt have enough time & i'm giving him a few days off as thursday was our first serious ride back from his break. I started his clicker training today.. and he caught on super quickly. we've been practising his bowing now for quiet some time and he now goes down on one knee fully only for a couple seconds but hey, everyone has to start somewheres! hopefully laying down will come shortley after. he's such a smart boy.. couldn't believe how quick he caught on. Gave him a good brushing and lots of love. he has a new friend, oreo the bunny. he's in love with it and completely fasnitated with it so sweet. that's pretty much it for now.

went down yesterday around 3:00ish. right after the horses came in brushed and the usual. took him to the indoor and just started to walk him around, stretched him and then started to pratice his bowing again he's going down on one knee properly and will hold it for 5-7 seconds each time he's so smart.. can't get over how he's such a quick learner. i've been picking up his hoof front facing so that when i go to pick out his feet / farrier does his feet he doesnt think its a cue to lay down.. he tryed once on crossties but he got a quick correction and has never tried to do it again. he's such a smart learner and is picking up SO fast on this.. i think i'm going to set a goal to have him laying down in the next 2 weeks depending on my work schedual.. I was in the mood to braid so i did up his mane is hunter bumps.. he looked sweet being a little wannabe show pony haha. his aunt lacey came down saturday later and took him for a ride she'll have to give the details on that! have to work tonight.. but update tomorrow after our ride

wayy too tired to do anything today.. took the boy out, cleaned his stall and did his water buckets. groomed, put him back in for a little while so he could eat and i could get some pictures with my new camera of Nat and Kelsey. took the boy out to the indoor and let him play with bella. prince never does anything to anyone he's pretty compatable with any horse if he has room he was pretty happy. took him out to the outdoors but the snow was too deap for me (getting soaked ) and my fingers where freezing off. so put him back in. I got some pretty good shots from today (300 and some odd.. i'll post my favorites ) see the picture thred later!

wow, Long time no update! Febuary Prince moved back to Cloverdale. I kept him on the same dosage of 2 x day Glucosamin Plus Instead of bringing him down to 1 x day, vet gave the okay to do so and he's doing amazing on it he's having the time of his life out in cloverdales giant feild. Sarge and him are inseperable (but he still misses his lover tango) i'm finding from before when we where at cloverdale and now he's alot more interactive with the horses which is good.. it's nice to see him play! first day i went out to get him from the feild he walked away from me and i just walked back to the barn.. kind of gave me that '...why isn't she chasing me look??' ever sence he will walk to the gate for me (if horses won't chase him away from it ). he's cute few days ago we worked on our bowing again.. haven't really touched bowing with him sence january so he had a good months off.. surprisingly he remembered everything! i was pretty proud so i asked for a little more, he went down on one knee with ease, and thought about going down with his bumm as well but stood back up instead. i was really proud we'll work on that for the next little while, hopefully he'll be down in no time i think he enjoys the soft snow and LOVES to roll.. so it's instinct for him to go down almost.. LOL. also he's pretty much prefected the yo-yo game. he moves his haunches wonderful when i ask him to (dressage whip subisituded for a carrot stick) and started on the forhand, he's not perfect with his forhand still has a little while to go till but doing fabulous with it I rode him a few days ago as well walk/trot.. first time in awhile i must say . last year when i first started leasing him we where stuck infront of the barn on a 30 m. circle, and thats where we had to ride. when i first started leasing he was super dominant and tried to run into the barn almost constnatly.. he got that idea in his head once and tryed buldging to it with his sides a few times, after a quick correction he was a star he had a bit of lockjaw syndrome for only a few minutes (cant blame him.. hasnt been worked in awhile) but he quickley worked out of it and again, was a star If the ground is alright for it im thinking about going on a light hack to try and beat this cabin feavor.. we'll see how it plays out
