okay so i had my lesson today and it was fun i was suppoused to ride Sonny but he's gone now  . Anyway i rode Brandy and Emily taught me again . We did some walk, halt transitions and 20 m circles for warm up and then we trotted and stuff and then we played a game called transitions for awhile and then we played red light, green light and i won . maybe next lesson i'll get to canter.. hint hint emily |

i had my lesson in the rain today . It was still alright though. I rode Champ and he was crooked but still pretty good. We did half hour in barn then half hour out because it was gross out. In barn we did polos and then we went out side and we warmed up then trotted one at a time and the other person had to say wether or not the person trotting was on their right diagonal or not. And one time when i was trotting Emily was chasing Champ and he started to canter !!! Even though it wasn't on purpose and i had to pull him back to a trot right away, i still got my canter ! . We finished off the lesson with a game of leapfrog. |

I had another lesson today and i rode Josie.. she was alright but abit stubbern. We worked on sitting trot and posting trot and then we played red light green light and emily let us ride to the barn.

haha yeah it is .. i have another lesson soon but its really nice out which is good because riding in the rain is only good sometimes |

haha anyway i had my lesson and it was amazing !! My best lesson yet at equine ! I rode Dante and we warmed up by doing walk-halt transitions and 20 m circles at a walk and then we trotted alot and worked on our posting diagonal, i got it right everytime except once ! We also worked on sitting trot for awhile and Emily said that i had a very nice sitting trot which is good because like i said in my first post i used to suck Then Emily called us into the middle and asked if we wanted to canter !! and of course i practically screamed yes So then we went for nice canters and worked on our canter leads for awhile. By this point i figured the lesson was almost over but there was still 25 minutes left !! So we crossed over our stirrups and did some no stirrup work with sitting and a little bit of posting trot.. i'm not very good at it yet and i nearly fell off a few times but thats okay.. i'll get better . Then Emily gave us the choice of working some more with no stirrups or cantering and i picked canter So we did that and then we only had 5 minutes left but Emily let us cool out around the ponds . I'm pretty sure i was smiling the whole lesson ! p.s. Next saturday we're going to have the whole lesson without stirups |

Sounded awesome Erin I like riding bareback. When riding bareback you really gotta be used to trotting without stirrups because you got none then...lol. maybe when you get really used to it then u can start riding bareback...its really fun  I really enjoys english riding now that im getting used to it more. I used to ride western for over 5 years with a little english. I started english seriously this year and i really like it. But i wouldnt be able to choose between english and western I love both! |

I really enjoys english riding now that im getting used to it more. I used to ride western for over 5 years with a little english. I started english seriously this year and i really like it. But i wouldnt be able to choose between english and western
