Hey i'm Erin, i'm 13 and i started taking lessons last october. There was a bit of a break in between but nevermind that . I'm riding at Southern Cross Stables and I ride Misty mostly but sometimes i switch around to Durango or Thunder for a ride ! My instrustor is Jessica and what i've done so far is..

*Walk
*Sitting trot and i'm absolutly HORRIBLE at it !
*Rising trot (much better at that )
*Canter
*Walk to Canter (mosty because i suck at sitting trot but it still counts )
*3 loop serpatines at walk and trot (rising)
*20 m circles
*figure eights

and probley more but thats all i can think of right now.

At my last lesson i asked Jess about doing my rider 1 and she said that she would look into it for me. But next lesson i have a different instructor but i'm not sure who yet and the lesson after that were doing stable managment and probley bathing Misty because she is VERY dirty. Last lesson we went on a trail ride and that was really fun even though the trail we were going to go on was to wet (it was almost like a river ) from all that rain we had but we just went in the feild and on the road then the dirt road . Thats it for today. I have my lesson tomorrow so i'll say more then ! .

i have a lesson tonight and i'm guessing it will be in the indoor arena since it's raining

Well my lesson was in the indoor arena and only in half of it because Sofie was in the other half. But that's okay ! It was still fun ! I rode Durango and he was being dumb (haha Stacey). But it was okay. We did 20 meter circles for warm up and then we trotted them and then Melanie set up poles for us to trot over and we did that and then we canterd abit but thats all we did since we were late starting. It was still fun though !

I just had my lesson and i did ride in the outdoor ! ;D Kristen is back (she was in my lessons but she got a concussion and couldn't ride for 4 weeks but now shes back) and she rode thunder; Keena rode Misty ( ) and i rode Durango ( ). It's not like i don't like Durango but i love Misty and i haven't rode her in forever and i miss riding her. But anyway.. we did some walk trot transistions for warm up and then some trotting and stuff.. everytime i asked Durango for a trot he would break into a fast Canter. It took me awhile to get him to trot when asked but eventually he did . Then we went up to the indoor and did some 3 loop serpintines, some more reverses and things that i dont remember what there called . Overall it was an alright lesson. We didn't do any intended Canter which sucked but it was still alright.

After the lesson i got some bad news..

Jessica isn't teaching during the school year so i need a new instucter and they don't think that they will be able to find one so i might have to switch stables
