Ok ok so you all rode the three horses. I just forgot

I rode the wonder pony again tonight. I hopped on him after I finished riding Lucas. The serpentine I had jumped with Lucas was still set up so I used the same exercise for Billy. I put the fences to 2'3 to start. Billy was being great! He didn't do his weird stop before the fence and jump from a halt thing once! To add to that Billy either switched his lead over the fence or did a flying like a stride after.

He was being so good I put the jumps up to 2'6. Did the serpentine a couple of times and then I put one fence up to 2'9. The height didn't phase Billy a bit. All I had to do was point him at the fence and he would find his own spot and jump the fence nicely. I was so proud ;D

I love jumping this pony. He handles the sharp turns that you have to take a lot better than Lucas does because his stride is a lot smaller.. and he's like a table and will not fall over . I'm really disappointed they may not bing having any jumper classes this summer. Billy would do really well in them.

Haven't updated this in forver..

So I rode today for about 50 minutes.. about a half hour of it was spent at the walk xD

I've been lunging Billy in side reins so yea..
I haven't jumped in a while either. So I've been working on getting Billy to go on the bit.

So I mostly did walk/trot. Since I got my new saddle today and it was hard to ride in xD

But he was REALLY good! He went on the bit most of the time at the walk and trot. I didn't bother at the canter because I knew he couldn't do it and I would just get frustrated. lol

well.. thats all really =)

I got it for my birthday

I had a lesson today at Villa training- on one of their horses.

Her name was Sarah and she was a 15.2hh(seemed bigger =P) Canadian Warmblood. She was like Billy (loves to go fast etc) .. but bigger.

And she's for sale- I want her xD

Anyways, we did just basics. Getting used to the horses and stuff. We did w/t/c and then we did a few small jumps. A cross rail, then a vertical then a vertical line.

It was fun. I have pictures which I'll post soon.

I rode Billy the other day, I had set up a 'wide' oxer that I thought was about 2 feet apart.. maybe a little more. He was being so bad and jumping it about 3'9.. in the video, my foot was above the 4 foot standard.

Anyways, after I measured it and from groundline to groundline it was a 121cm spread (thats 4 feet!!).. and about 78cm high (almost 2'6).I felt SO bad for being dissapointed in my ride. I thought he was being bad. I was really worried about the show because the oxers will probably be like 2'6" apart.. I have really bad judgment I guess xD

Anyways, yea I'm showing Billy is 7 days from today! The warmup is a day before.. so like 6 days? I'm taking him in 2'6 hunters and jumpers

I had a lesson yesterday.. we did some small courses then at the end did a oxer. It was semi- wide (xD).. first it was 2'0" by 2'0" then put up to 2'0" to 2'3".. then to 2'0" to 2'6". That was all really.. lol
