turquoise so isn't a girly colour. Rocky has a turquoisey halter Seriously though, I think purple would look GORGEOUS on her. Definatly very girly for a sweet little(Yeah, I know, not so little!) mare.

Went to the barn today! YAY First thing that happened was that I was offered to buy Gazella, who is a 2 year old bay CSH filly. Oh and did I mention at 2 she is standing 15hh? She is going to finish around 17.1 or 17.2hh we figure! I said to Sandra how if I was going to buy anyone in the barn it was going to be Cativa....she said that she is thinking about letting me bring her home with me for the summer, assuming that I can pay for shipping. I doubt it will happen because shipping is so expensive, but we're going to look into it. Then Christina and I brought Enzo and Cativa in. I groomed Enzo, tacked him up and took him for a walk in the arena. He was pretty well behaved. Got jumpy once because Cativa was calling out to him but other then that he was good. When he took the bit today he was chomping on it a lot but he settled down fairly quickly! He also let me pick out his back hooves but not his front ones - something to keep working on. After I untacked Enzo I groomed and tacked up Cativa. She was a star! Took the bit no problem, closed her mouth and stood patiently while I buckled everything up. Waited quietly while I got her halter and put it on and then came willingly out to the arena. She walked around like everything was perfect. Got a little antsy when Christina and her pony John were trotting, but no big deal! She was really good so I took her inside and spent a lot of time grooming her and giving her some lovin Sandra and I picked her hooves out (she was a good girlie) and then stood together with her and talked about my options in terms of buying her. She said I can work off my board and I can pay for her in installments, so much each month...and she will sell her to me for less then what she is asking on the website (which is $8,000). Later in the afternoon when we put Cativa and Enzo in the old barn (the younger kids are in the big barn for the weekend because Zambucca tried to jump a 4 foot fence and didnt make it- she fell and pinched some nerves and hurt her leggies, so she needs to be in the warmth!) and the three of us - me, sandra and christina - were watching the horses and Sandra and Christina were talking about how much Cativa has settled....Christina said "I guess she's happy now she has found her soul mate" Quite the comment. ahhhhhhhhhh Cativa is my dream horse and hopefully everything will work out. Sandra really likes us together and she said she would really like for me to buy her, so that Cativa goes to someone who will love her and take her to her potential. So....as soon as I have the money Cativa is mine yay for gill having a horse! haha anyways, I'm going up again tomorrow so I'll update soon!
