He is a walking Vet Bill  I have no clue how he did it. I was also thinking he could have studded himself when he was lying down... ? God only knows. It is almost healed now though. He has super healing powers , haha. |

Just came home from the barn. Nick was really hyper/excited so I took him for a walk in the snowy darkness. He really enjoyed it. He was dragging his nose in the snow and licking it Then he was looking up towards the big fields and was just staring, then tryed o climb a huge snow bank. I think he seen/smelled a moose or something ?? Hah. It is Pam's first ride tomorrow. I will let you guys know how it went after I talk to her. |

Pam rode him Saturday for the first time. He was acting up a little bit because she was too hard on his mouth. After I told her to give her elbows after she asks him to lower his head, he was perfect for her. He has SUCH a soft mouth and you hardly have to touch the reins.
She is riding again tomorrow. Im riding him Wednseday and she is riding again Thursday. I will let you know how it all goes:)

haha, he wasn't always like that...while he was at HRR I put nice a bit of time into him with one of my "students", to get him to soften/lighten...when he first came he was quite a little piggy. I don't know what he was like when you first got him Michelle, but I hope I made things a little easier for you. |

He did not want me to even touch the reins when I got him. He would toss his head and worm around.
After a good teeth float, and loads of suppling and getting him straight, he is good to go!
His teeth were really bad when he came.. He would spit grain everywhere!

That's quite the exaggeration.  The girl chafed one of her fingers on the reins and got a blister that tore open...I think it happened when Nick tried pulling the reins out of her hands, as she didn't even notice it until after she'd finished riding. Michelle - You've got a PM as well! |

I rode Nick Wednesday. He was good. Lazy, but good. Pam went to ride yesterday, but he pulled a shoe!!!!!!!!! I wonder whats going to happen next? |
