okey so i'm finally off crutches and i can hop along now ;D so i managed to make my way out to my barn last nite and but my boy and girl into the barn for the night considering how windy it was. so i got out and found my girl waiting for me at the gate to let her inside to the warmth <3... when i got her inside i gave her a well deserved grooming and i think she looked it ! lol... then i sat down in her stall and watched her eat contently ... but unfortunetly i had to go in bc my knee started to hurt but i enjoyed my visit with my boy and girl <3

Awh, I told you you'd heal up right fast. Gosh, you'll probably be riding again by the weekend. I'm glad you got to go out and see your ponies last night, and I bet they'll love "whiskey".

okey so i went out to the barn last nite to bring in my girl and boy to deworm them and give them their nightly feed .. so i trotted out to the gate got teezer and brought her in side and she was in succch a playful mood i was laughing at her all night, we had whiskey in the cross ties clipping her and rasping her feet and grooming etc just plan getting her used to everything and she didn't care and while trying to do so teezer decided she didn't like our cleaning job adn deciding to be a goof that she is started licking whiskey from bum to neck haha she had her soaked (sigh ) i busted then she started to grab the cross ties and started pulling on them forcing whiskey to be dragged to one side,.. i thought it was soo adorable and funny seems like whiskey and teezer are going to get along pretty good.. then i went and dewormed teezer with our apple flavored dewormer and for god the girl just wanted more of that haah never had a horse that liked dewormers soo much sigh sigh sigh what a goof ball she is... so i then gave her her grain groomed her and picked at her.. she seemed to have enjoyed her night lol so i gave her a kiss lead her out the barn and released her into her paddock for a nice warm and stary night ... can't wait to start riding again and getting that excess energy out of her .. although i love her goofyness ;D

woooow .. it's been a while since i wrote in this and i guess i should pick it back up now that i'm doing lesson's with sasha on teezer now which are going deadly.. okey so i'll start with my past sunday lesson, sasha had us do extended collected and working trots and i must say my girlie responded well and did whatever i asked , although she did get a bit excited over the extended trot and took a bit of time to settle her down for collected. we worked with no stirrups !! my words are OW! haha then o then we started our first cross rails i know it don't sound like much but to me it was huge haha!! we worked on troting over them, loping over them and she was a champ, then we started our very first bounce!! hehe , we worked on that i think for about 15-20 , now at first she was confused and decided to plow through the first and jump the second haha, but the doll did awsome the rest of the times! but as for me aww i need the practice!! after she was all tuckered out we a nice long walk home:)
then monday i lunged her with the side reins, trying to teach her how to use her hind end and to develop muscles on the hind and back , i did this for a half hour 15 mins each side and she was a doll , excited and bucky for the first to loping currents then settled right down !!! i'm soo proud of how she's coming along!!

well since i am now injured again , i can't ride my girlie for a while and i missed out on my lesson on sunday , but sienna did come up and took breeze and teezer for a ride, well her and kent, they said that had an awsome ride so i'm aleast glad she got some exercise bc soon her belly's going to be touching the ground she's getting sooo fat lol!! but yeah i'm hoping today to get around to at least grooming her !!

o ya knows i managed to bang up my knee again and i think i'm out for a while now due to having to see if i got to get surgery and recovering!! only me of course grrrrrrrrrr

Today i had another awsome lesson with sasha and we first worked on transistions, worked on the collected trot, extended trot, and working trot. worked on sitting in two point while doing surpintines (sp) and it hurt me alot lol. then we worked on alot of simple lead changes and flying lead changes!! my girlie was awsome for the begining then got confused and afraid and started to give up on some things but i never gave up and she ended up doing two awsome flying leads changes but she did many simples ! gotta love my stubborn/ loving/ willing / green / girlie...

okey so yesterday i managed to ride again and hopefully i'll find time again today .
so yesterday we started off lunging with side reins to the left 5 min trot then 5 min trot lope trot lope and so on then we switched sides and did the same , you can so see the improvement of her using her hind end more and remaing in proper position. then i jumped on her back and worked on transitions, walk/trot trot/walk trot/whoa, and mainly on walk/lope, and lope/walk and lope/whoa and trot to whoa. we did this for about 20 mins and since i could she that she was getting tired due to lack of exercise and that she was doing awsome and really trying and improving with each ask, i decided to end it on an awsome note and cooled her out. i'm sooo proud of her she's really starting to get things and is improving quickly

ok so yesterday i got a call from my mom saying i tried to go on a trail ride with teezer today but she's lame so when i got home i lunged her , only at a walk and trot just to see her movement , she was fine when i seen lunged her so i tacked up and decided to just go for a half hour walk/trot ride to loosen up her muscle's because i figured she was just sore from putting her back on a regular schedule , the ride was awsome not a lame step....

then i wake up this morning and she's hobbling around in the mud,, i feel soooo bad bc i'm afraid i did horrible damage on her last night although i really didn't do much, so i hand walked her for a while and it slowly eased off and she's just slightly favouring now ! so i'm going to wait a about 2 days and cold hose her and hand walk her just to make sure it isn't sore muscles, and if no improvement calling my dear friend the vet

but i hope she's fine in a couple days my poor girlie

o and i took her out of the mud bc standing around in that's no good !!

okey so a follow up, i hand walked teezer to pasture land and checked up on her and she's back to her old self, i think the mud was causing her to stand in one spot to long and making tender muscles tighten uncomfortably yay i'm happy

for the last two days i've keep her on rest and checking up on her everyday and hand walking her and checking her stride i even jumped on her back in the pasture today and did a little run around to feel her stride and everything was fine and dandy... i'm going to keep her on rest for this weekend then start lightly riding again on tuesday
