Prancer

I rode Prancer today and she was a -babe-. I used a seat cushion to give her withers more support, Liz told me her saddle doesn't fit, that it would be hard to fit a saddle to her properly because of her confo and to buy a riser pad for her. She was a bit cranky at first, so I took Ange's adivce(That she was getting pissed off with trotting so much) and trotted her down the long sides and let her walk the short sides, then trotted C-F and A-H, then all the way around once and a 20m circle at a walk, after I did that, she let me do whatever I wanted! so we trotted 20m circles, serpintines and firgure eights, no stirrups.

She didn't even buck today when I used my crop!

Thanks Sarah! I haven't ridden my girly in a few days now. I went out to ride her yesterday but Ange told me I could have a lease ride on Brandy, so I did. I went out this morning to ride her but by the time I finished the work I had to do I was too tired, so I groomed her and hand grazed her while waited for my mumsie.


I found Prancer's sweet spot =D! Quite an accomplishment!

Prancer just missees her winter break, all the ponies do i think, they get winter off, then summer comes, and Oh Work time!
but she loves it!
she'd getter be nice for my lesson tomorrow, but she always is, as much as she dislikes screaming children, this little kid loves horses, and riding prancer.

Kelly, how are you doing lately?
Try her over those canter poles yet? you should come down tomorrow or something and i can set them up for you

Maria, I had 2 exams today so I had to take a few days off to study. I'll try to come up tomorrow though, unless Mel is riding, then I may just watch. I miss our trailrides

well whenever our ponies, who dont show, are clear on a friday or sunday afternoon, we'll grab a picnic and Giver!

Prancer looked awesome today though Kelly, i just dont think any of our horses wanted to go over those poles, they were being silly. look a trotting pole, Kick!

she was okay, I guess. Didn't try to buck me off and was at least making an effort at moving forward. I'm riding again tomorrow after I clean the barn- come ride with me!

I rode Pony today and she was a bit off, probably just the heat! She was good today except for one big buck when I used my crop a bit harder than was needed, then after I used my crop lightly she was still pissy, so I rode around the arena with my crop layed on her flank, then started giving her very light taps then went back up to how I would usually use it and she was fine. Afterwords she was giving kisses and everything as usual, I thought the heat was just killing her, I shoulda hosed her off! I brought her hand grazing for being good and let her into her paddock to roll =P.

I ride early on Tuesdays Mel, what time do you ride? I might not be riding now anyways cause I have to take my Poppys car to the garage for him.
