Prancer

Prancer was great for the lesson i had her in, this little girl (probley 9 years old) shes pretty much scared shitless of horses, so i dont know why shes taking lessons, but prancer was good for her, walking over poles, and the girl could even ask her to trot for 10 strides at a time, and get her to halt and walk whever she asked.
thats the weird thing about Prancer And Champ, they can be asses to us because We're asking them to do something during a lesson or just riding, and they do not want to do it,But you put them in lessons with little young preple or in summer camp and theyre amazing!
Go Figure!

Prancer and I worked on her trot/walk transitions yesterday. They're choppy and rushed so we worked on making them smoother! We did some canter and worked on her canter/trot transition too.

Mel I can't wait to see you and Prancer when I come home!! Congrats on all the hard work you've put in so far, I'm sure she appreciates it and all the extra lovin' and attention!

Sarah I can't wait for you to get home! We have so much fun stuff to do! Prancer can't wait to show you our musical ride! I can definitaly feel her improving so Kelly and I will keep schooling her, her trot will always be weird but hopefully we can get her balance even better.

I can't wait to start learning new things in my lessons, though before I can apply them to my lease rides Prancer and I have lots of no stirrup work to do!

We cantered with no stirrups yesterday, once large and neither of us lost our balance, I was like "Aah! Yay!"


She's such a big sook now, I love her! She's adorable!

you know whats not fun? Me and Prancer went for a trail ride today and got rained on! I had to clean the barn in soaking wet clothes

Kelly! You should have gone home to change! You could've called me and I'd have done the barn for you and Ange wouldn't have been any the wiser, well she probably would have, but I'd have asked her to credit you for it!!

Other than the rain did you guys have fun?

Ah kelly! Trail ride without me! You should have told me I would have came and took the day off school!

thanks Mel, but it wasn't so bad... I have a sore throat now though!!

And yeah, it was fun!! We rode as far as the big field me and Maria and Jess usually ride in and had a few gallops. The grass is well over Prancers knees now, and in some places brushes my feet. I rode her with a fairly loose rein, and she wasn't nervous or anything!

you and Maria have to pick a day to get off school!! And Mel should see if she can go too, and it'll be sooo much fun!! too bad there's a clinic this weekend.
