I'm glad they are safe, too. Hopefully someone can keep us all up to date on the progress of these two horses.

I think Kathie Lane has them... she was posting on facebook that they are really coming around having lots of food and water and new friends. They do have blankets but I believe she said they might need heavier ones as it cools down.

Agreed Karlah! Emilys heart was in the right place. I have seen lots of people on here "posting for a friend" The pics she was sent they looked good bc its when she first got them. While all this is going on there is a STB on NLC that is almost in the same shape as Hurricane and buddy wants over 500 for him where is the news camera now? Exactly. These guys got attention because the SPCA phoned open line looking for help because they didn't know how to care for horses. It developed positively from there. But Kathy Lane herself said on the news that these horses were loved, but by people that didn't know what to do. That certainly happens. For all we know they could have been getting hay, but crappy hay. And so on and so on. And if the owners realized this and contacted the SPCA for help, who are we to judge? They sought help. Good for them. I hope this guys bounce back (which no doubt they will) and go on to do well.

Just an update folks, Trigger has put on a whopping 50 lbs in the last two weeks, and Hurricane has now started to gain and is up by 15 lbs. Both are looking happy and nicker when people enter the barn. They are doing well.
