^ This is how it struck me also....that it is just the start of a movement that will see horses banned completely from the town. Sad, but probably inevitable. I would clean up if were possible to do so. As Karen said, I don't plan on scaling some trail to remove manure when it will disintegrate in the next rain, but I would and have removed it from view on public parks and walkways.

There is still alot of family land in CBS that i don't see being sold to commercial property, i would be shocked if they did not allow horses there anytime soon. I was also one of those people who was in the picture and i think people need to find more to worry about. I do not ride on the roads allot maybe 10 times this summer going from one place to another and Splash did not poop every time. I understand everyones points, and kicking it into a ditch is a good idea, but i don't have a truck and horse poop is not small , i think its situational , but it is really that hugh or a issue that there now need to be a law made??
Also good point Karen i am curious to know what the police horses do?
