Would it be possible, if we could setup a calandar to accompany this forum's message to coincide with all the events. When someone wants to post something they could enter the information on the date. Just food for thought. I for one, know it would be very beneficial to what is coming ahead and easier to help decide which ones to go in.

There is a calendar feature at the top of this forum. Couldn't we utilize that?

I actually think we can, and quite easily. I cant do much from my work computer, or even see much for that matter. I will play around later on..also, anyone in the mean time can go ahead and try and incorporate confirmed shows and clinics for the province in there if you wanted to. See how it works at least. Great idea Shirley!

Emily, I think it is only you, as a moderator that can add things to it. We'll keep working on it.

Emily C, if you need a volunteer to keep the calendar up to date I will volunteer. But I think this would be a good and beneficial tool for all.

Thats a fabulous idea, I know myself I'd love to attend or audit all the shows and clinics weather I'm in them or not but I tend to forget the dates alot! If there was a calnder on here we could just regularly check it and make plans

Would you guys rather have it so anyone can post an event? I'm able to change the settings, we just never used the calendar before!

Yes, I'd prefer if anyone could add... mor convenient. Might need ground rules so that birthday\anniversary type stuff doesn't clutter it up though....did this before !!

All done! You can now all add events to the forum calendar (can be found in the top toolbar). Keeping it strictly shows/clinic/seminars/etc related and not personal is probally a suitable ground rule.
edit: I just noticed member birthdays already show up at the bottom of the date, so no worries!
