I know this was asked before, but there wasn't really any good answer left on the post, and I really do want to know, lol! What program(s) can/do you use? Do you have to buy them? Can you download them, etc.

you can use pretty much any program
I know a few people (not on here) who use GIMP. I've tried it and didn't like it very much- but it's usable. XD
I use adobe photoshop, which you can get TONS of different versions of.. ranging for About 50-2000 dollars (depending on version). When I make signatures, I make the background first, then cut (or remove the background of the image) the horse, so just the horse is left and not the background. So I do that to whatever pictures I have and put some on different setting (like overlay) to make them look better. Then I add text.

i use corel draw 12.. i got it free because i had to use it for school, but i think you can get the program at future shop or something.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. It's kind of godly.
Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 is another I use, it's good as well.
Picnik.com is good for basic stuff, and GIMP and Photoscape are also good and free.
