I might as well start one for Doll. First a bit about Doll.

Parents: Dolls Union Jac X Polite Tivio Chex
Breed: American Quarter Horse
Age: 7
Disipline: Reining
Winnings: 1st Non-Pro Reining
2nd 3 Year Old Futurity

I bought Doll August 30, 2008, from a barn in NS. There she was born, raised and trained for reining. Her breeder/owner shown to many great placings.

I oringinly bought her in hopes of training her for jumping but being the only jumper in my barn with 2 reiners I decided I don't have the experience to trainer to jump with out help so why not rein with a reining horse?

TRAINING:

Today we worked on getting into puddles as she never had to wald through them before with and indoor arena. and we worked a bit on speed changes and bending. And after our Very, very, cold ride I made Dollars look all perty. I braided her mane and tail cleaned and oiled her feet and gave her a good brushing! And then Doll shared her food with the cat evan though the cats feed was there...oh what weird cats I have !

I did not have a chance to ride doll today because we had to go out to capahayden but i managed to get a few pictures while i was waiting for mom. so i will have to post them tonight.

i never had a chance to ride yet our arena was iced over. i hope if we can get enough snow to cover the ice we can start to ride again.

Still haven't done any riding as Dollars is bare foot and our feild and arena are to slippery. I hope when she gets her winter shoes put on next week I can ride.

I am sooo prouid of my girl, yester day i roder her bare back with just a halter and lead and today bareback with a bridle she was really good considering it was her first time EVER bareback in her whole life!!!
