honestly, if she isnt mature enough to take our advice as well as the critizim then she shouldnt be on the forum.

instead of snapping at people, lying and freaking out when someone tells you when you do something wrong, take it in stride and make it positive to help improve your riding.

Guys, this is a training log not an advice column. You've all been picking on her since she started, leave her alone! Just don't post- like Julie said, "ognore her if she annoys you." Because when I come on and read this stuff, it makes me more aware of the fact that you are all still children, regardless of how knowledgeable you are about horses.

If you want to be helpful, start by checking over your posts to see if you've actually BEEN helpful or if you are just being a little snot. We're a small horse community and we should all try to be friends and support each other, not bash new members- the industry will never grow that way. Kaitlyn isn't hurting Star, and if she trots her pony over a little cavaletti who cares!

I think Kaitlyn, you should ask the mods to delete this post and start a new training log where we can all be MATURE and offer friendly advice on a take it or leave it basis instead of all the sauce and meanness this one is filled with.

She could hurt herself or her horse by not riding properly.
I barely read anything on this forum anymore, but this needs to be said.

Some things NEED to be said, espeically when it comes to horse back riding, because you can put yourself in danger and your horse if you don't know what you are doing. I would much rather take the advice, though maybe some times harsh, than get hurt or worse, hurt my horse.

Krys, I remember when you got Rocky you were still a beginner and all the girls were mean to you. I came into the barn and saw you one day so down I didn't even know if I would ever see you up there again! Even Jess and Maria were critisizing your decision to by a baby. But look how it worked out- Rocky is a super star, you guys are a great team. And as for the girls, isn't it much nicer when they AREN't constantly critisizing??

As or hurting herself or her horse by RIDING it, it is more likely she will injure it by leaving it out in the yard and not shoeing it or something. It's a friggen NL pony, it looks pretty calm in the pics of her sitting on it.

Ashlyn, not everyone has been snotty, some people on here are genuinely helpful- thats why I love it and keep coming here despite the fact that I haven't been a teen in a few years !! And I love that if I ASK for advice on can get it. But Kaitlyn just wants to put in a training log for her pony Star- could we all just be helpful and non-critical? She seems to take advice quite well, someone mentioned about her not wearing a helmet and the next pic showed her wearing one.

Lets- for a change- make Kaitlyn feel like a member of NL's tiny horse industry, and not a social outcast on a forum The next posts here should be helpful, friendly and welcoming- not snobby, critical, and cold.

Oh, I know, but I was down more so on the fact that I thought I had made the wrong choice. And I thought that for pretty much a year. But I more so wanted to advance and prove people wrong and look how far we've come.

I wasn't trying to say anything about Kaitlyn, I was just saying that some things must be said. I'd want someone to let me know if I was doing something wrong when I was learning because I'd never want to hurt myself or my horse.

Keep working on improving yourself and try not to take people opinions the wrong way.

Well Star is my pony who i get leasons on right now and boy oh boy he is a ladys man .There is a horse that borads there and he makes sure that Trigger (the borader) Stays away from precious (the soon to be mamma) haha, i think he;s around 14.something i'll check next time i don't know that info about him ... They say he is a old thing but i think he's only young cause he has a spirt of a 12 year old haha ... ... The whole reasons They named him star is because he has a star on his head ... He is a black nfld pony .HE can be stuborn sometimes and he loved being in the barn..The owners of star had his mother also .

Star had alot of crazy times in the past ...hes been chases by a mosse, a crazy horse, ber coyote and has got in a fight with a bear and guess who won ...Star cause the bear ran away haha . Then while they where all gone some where one of there neighbours Thought there was a mosse in the garden where the horses so they phoned a guy to tell him to shot the moose so it would't hurt the horse so they shot it but thank gawd it never went through no now he has a bullett in him but it doesn' hurt and they can't get it out !


So thats star... And i havn't had any leasons ever scince saturday !

Don't seek the attention, nobodys going to come crying to you for an appology.
Just change the name, and carry on with your training log.
The girls are alloud to give you tips/critiques, it only makes your riding better,
But to just IGNORE them, when they are trying to HELP is just RUDE!

The are taking their time, to actually say 'Hey, you should improve this' or 'You should improve that'. It only makes your riding better!

As for lieing, NEVER lie, the truth always catches up to you, and just makes a bigger mess.
