My cabin is located right next to roadside pond, and we finally came up with an official date when we will be offering everyone a chance to enjoy a nice three day horsing event. The date is august 23rd weekend. The 23rd, 24th, and the 25th. It's about 6 hours on horse back, and it's only offered to people with their own horses. Sorry we don't have horses to provide people. Also first come first serve basis, our cabin only accommodates up to 12 horses, and 14 people. pm if anymore questions, or price pics from last year

I would love to do this!
I was just wondering, will there be a lot of cantering and galloping? I don't usually go faster than a walk on the trails, when Beau is in a new place, he gets extremly wound up. (and on any trail for that matter)
What are the details? Is this a competition or just a fun 3-day trail?

The ride is just for fun. I have done it twice now and it is wicked. Usually there is some trotting, loping and galloping, but that would depend on the group of people that is going. Sometimes the group will devide up and some will lope ahead and the others will walk. But Ashley will have to comment on what to expect from this trip. Jack will be available to go on this trip if someone is interested. He did it in July and was excellent. However, the Camp girls have first dibs and Becca I told Ashley last night that you could take him if neither of the twin's go. PM me if your interested.
edit: WHooHooo! I can go. Jack is no longer available. Did I say WHoooHooo.

My boyfriend would also love to go but the horse he rides is old. We ride her on trails(long ones) all the time and even up mountains! The problem is, we can only walk her as well, we don't ever push her.
If there was some assurance of a group that would only be walking, that would be lovely!

Hi, I can't garentee that there will only be walking on the ride. I know i enjoy a few jobs and a simple lope here and there. So i'm sorry but i can't say that we'll only be walking.
Also the trip is 200. This charge covers, gas, horses feed, your food, etc. And it would be appreciated if there is a 50 down payment on the weekend priror to the 23rd of august.
Thanks
