a lot of you already know pine. pine is a lovely, 15.2hh. 6 year old QH. We got pine from Nancy Kennedy in Hortenville, Nova Scotia. Pine is a lovely pleasure horse and also an awsome hunter horse.
Danielle Pike aka my sister owns Pine but when she first got him he had a little spook and she fell off. A few weeks later he spooked again and he is such a fast learner he learned then and there that all he has to do is buck and she comes off and he gets out of work. So being the older sister that could ride better i had to take him and do his training.
I had pine for a year and danielle had my horse. when Josh came sore she rode pine and he was fine so she took him again and after a few rides he remembered all he had to do is buck. And now i am not taking him back but i still have to train with him as much as i can so i figured i should start a training log.

Ok thats enough of an intro to Pine now lets start his training.
yesterday i rode and i clucked and he walked on a few steps and i told him to stop. thats his reward. i repeated this for a while and then i went around the feild with out stopping. and then i did the same at the trot. after that i put him in and gave him a treat.

pine did not get ridden today the ring is all ice =( but he got dewormed and he was not at all happy about it hahahaha

today i rode pine and 1 full time around the ring i was asking for a canter and all he did was a fast trot. and on the 3rd time i slowed him down (because he cant go from fast trot to canter) and kissed for the canter again and he went right to a canter i let him go 3 strides and got off and let him go.

It can be embarrassing to read about yourself. I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to, but I would rather hear about the horse. The impression i get from reading this post is that you are putting all her faults out. Why not compliment on something good Danielle did? It would be much nicer, and give your sister some more confidence:) |

oook i guess its not the nicest thing so well she managed to ride him cause everytime he was bad for her mom would get on and give him trouble. so the 3rd time danielle got on he didn't listen mom walked towards him and he went on with what danielle asked. he probly said" oh no i am not going to take what that lady gave me again i better move." haha.
and maria he just has a listening problem and if danielle asks pine to do something he just stops and if she kicks him or hits him he well buck and she either falls or slams against the horn on the saddle. i already gave up with him yesterday he flicked me to his neck amd almost threw mom.

well pine is now offically mine and hopefully well learn that bucking is a bad thing and also now that he is mine he is also now a dressage horse!!!!
