Jenn- She was soo good ! Anyways. Some of you might know that the Equine Meadows show team had a mock show at the Goulds race track and i thought id put up updates on that! Well i took sabrina and she loaded and unloaded the trailer perfectly. Then julie took her up to the arena to let her get some of her energy out up there. When everyone was at the race track and ready to go We started off out show with a group warm up. I wasnt sure what to expect when i got on her but she was perfect! We warmed up with out a hitch ! I was so proud. Then it was EQ undersaddle, again she was awesome and we both did really well. After that was a EQ pattern class. I decided since she and i were doing so well at the trot i would keep it all at a trot for that class , and again we did good. During Pleasure class, everything was going good until the very last canter transition where she decided to through her head quite a few times and ruined it, but i didnt care cause i knew she definitly doing awesome. The command class was going good, I stayed in until there was only me , jess and nadine left. I got out when ange asked for counter canter but i didnt realise and then I got eliminated. At the end of the day i was soooo happy with the girl, So i gave her the next day off and a whole lot of treats  |

Ya you did really good on her at the race track!
Since it was a new place i thought some of the horses were gonna act up but non did!!
It was awesome!!

I havent updated this in a while! Well my last two recent rides were my lesson and my ride today. Im my lesson we warmed up w/t/c and practiced 2 point and half seat. Once we were both warmed up and ready to go, we went over our first jump and then worked on making that controled and nice. then we added on a jump one at a time till we had a full course set up. Sabrina was so good! Today when I rode I had pretty much the same type warm up, and a nice long one at that too because she as hyper. I jumped today and also warmed up with a small crossrail. When we were warmed up I went over a gym line with crossrail, crossrail and then pole and after that i put up a vertical in the middle and then a small "oxer" ( haha ). After I did that jess set up a course and we did the whole thing. Gym line- single jump on the quarter line- digonal and then the other diagonal. I was so pleased with Sabrina, She was awesome! Shes such a little jumper ;D |
