Cloud 9 GB was first saddled approx 6 weeks ago and has since progressed to WTC (yes, even canter) and yesterday went on her first five hour trail ride....not bad progress for a Standardbred mare that was never away from the race track till five weeks ago! I am so glad to have kept her as she is a riders dream...best part is that when Cloud left the track, she also left the pace behind. We are still working on her weight but she has gained well over a 100lbs and eating well!

Is this that dapple grey mare? She is STUNNING!
Congratulations and good luck with her in the future. Perhaps we'll see you at some shows next season?

I always loved Cloud, she was in the same barn as Colin (assuming I don't have her mixed up with another grey). She tried to bite me a few times when I was over making friends with her Glad to hear shes coming along so nicely!!! Pics plz

Long time since last update. Cloud is perfect(sorry but she is),she now can w/t/c with ease, obeys all the voice commands, has a gorgeous cadilac gallop,I take her out early morning for a run and she loves it,doesn't spook at anything, just sizes up the strange thing and moves on. She is gaining weight and has stopped letting Solitare boss her. She has done three 4-6 hour trail rides and even mastered water and tinny sounding bridges. If we find a trainer, look for us next year in the show ring maybe!
