Vindicated: Trish

OK. As most of you may know I have boughten Trish . I haven't rode her since ive owned her because i still need some tack but heres what we did so far.

Today, me and my cusin Josh went up to check on Molly and Trish. We went in and i flicked Trish off and then me and Josh put Molly and Trish out in the pastrue. It was Trishes FIRST time out there so i took her off the lead rope and guess what she done. took off . I swear she looked just like a arabian! Prancing around with her tail up in the air. I have to get a video. After, me and Josh brushed Molly and Trish and then i sat down with Trish. Then i went to the tack store and bought her a girth and a new brush! Then we came back took them for a nice little walk and brought them back. I love bonding with my horsiee. Shes such a sweetheart. Molly......Molly is the devil....i mean the devil....i swear.....

thanks guys. shes good for riding but in the feild shes crazy. molly is evil!

Molly's not evil! She's just a tad bit unladylike. But, who cares? Josh loves her ... and well that's it haha. I'm warming up to her though. And Trish is awesome too!

OK today was AWESOME! I loved it right to death! First when i got there my mom went out and bonded with Trish. Yes accually went up and touched her and walked her. My mom is TERRIFIED of horses. It was nuts! Then i brushed her and Josh came up. We bonded more and then went for a walk. We went to Joshs house and then we went thruogh a feild and i dared Josh to jump on and he did. He is my hero. As i said Molly is EVIL so she sort of bucked a few times and then took off. She only had her halter on and a piece of rope. Josh made it back to the feild in one piece and had SOOO much fun! Then i came back and bonded more. Hopefully tomorrow ill ride!

Today was pretty good. Me and my friend Jasmine went up and brused her out and stuff then we walked up to Cache Rapids and me and jasmine took some pictures so they will be posted ASAP!

Ok. The last time i was with Trish it was Saturday. I know im a bad mommy but i have been busy. and I was all messed up cause of the ride i needed a break. Well the ride was not that great..... she bucked 3+ times with me on her back and bucked and reared my cusin off. Then Ashley came trotting up the road on Breeze and i told her what happened and so she got on her and she was fine. So then Ashely told me to get back on and i did but i wanted her to stay by me the whole time as i was really nervous! Trish was fine but i still got off again due to the whole bucking thing. Then i unsaddled her and brushed her again and went home. I love my little crazy gurlie!

Don't let one ride get you down! Rudy bucks sometimes but the key is to stay calm!
There could be a few reasons Trish is bucking:
Does her saddle fit well? Bucking may be her sign of telling you "Ouch!".
Has she ever had an injury before? It may be ouchie aswell.
If she bucks again, the best thing to do is STAY calm! Also, walk her around till she is calm aswell, because if you get off right after she bucks, she will learn that "Oh, I bucked and didn't have to work! I'll keep bucking to get her off my back!", which is NOT good!
