I rode today, Jess and Emily gave me some pointers We did some jumping, and I am working on keeping him moving forward. I am totally loving him. Can't wait for the 1st when he will be mine

You're boy was gorgeous today! I took a lease ride on him because he was the only one not used and camp, and he was exellent! w/t/c and we went over the rider two line!

Rode again today I love my man. Too bad he wants to buck me off and I suck at using a dressage whip... oh well!

Haha but you have to love the dressage whip:) He looked good even if he was a little cranky

He's great once you get him moving. Too bad I don't have strong enough legs to really push him forward, but I already feel my legs getting stronger since I have been riding him(possibly since I barely rode Prancer in months and have been riding Champ almost every day except when I have to work.) I also do those excercises we learned in Centered Riding(I love my trampoline!!) and those seem to tone my body up a bit.

Since it has benefited Sarah so much, I may take 2 lessons a week in Alberta too! I may as well enjoy myself there.

I love my pony...

I rode again today at 1 and he was excellent! We did w/t/c 20 m circles and one simple lead change that he did perfect so I never tried anymore. Then we rode an imaginary dressage test a couple of times for fun, and I practiced some backing up and turn on the forehand. He gets a couple of good steps before he falls apart, but he is learning fast. And the bonus- e hasn't tried to attack Rocky in a while

Had a lesson tonight in the miserable rain, but thats good for Champ anyway, he always goes into a frame to duck his head out of the rain. We did 3 loop serpentines, rising trot for the first loop, sitting trot for the secod, and an attempt at cantering the third. He did it a few times on each side but was a bit crooked as the hour wore on. I am riding him again tomorrow, Angela told me I can do whatever I want with him, that he is mine now anyway. I won't be able to pay for him until next week when she comes back, but at least I know he's mine!

my order is on its way to NL, I can't wait! I ordered the Blackburn Adjustable Close Contact saddle, black with smooth knee rolls. The raised white padded bridle, a hunter saddle pad, and a neoprene girth. Two halters with running horses- one navy, one orange( I love orange ) Black neoprene splint boots, a nylon tail bag, braiding elastics, two leads(one navy/burgandy, one hunter). AND a slinky for me!
