For Sale : Zen
Zen is a 17h Pecheron x Thoroughbred gelding standing 17h at age 4. Gorgeous dark bay with no white except for a small star on his forhead which is normally hidden by his forelock. Zen is very green under saddle but very willing and loves to be ridden. He has excellent barn manners and excellent with grooming and for the farrier and the vet. He's very much so a people person and loves to play. He needs to go to a home where he'll be used more then he is now. I've got very little time for him. Zen is not for a beginner rider. He'd make an excellent eventer, hunter or even dressage, he has beautiful, fluid gates. You can contact me via e-mail for more info and pictures.. BordersEdge@hotmail.com or msn using the same email address.

Wow he looks just like Blaze at HRR! If he only had a strip down his face I'd swear it was the same horse!

It looks like he has a hunk of foot missing in his front right. What's that from do you know?? he's barefoot obviously, but I wonder what happened.

His hooves got dry and a piece cracked off I believe, but the farrier came down and put cement there and it's perfectly fine now. It probably wouldn't have happened with a little hoof oil. It's nothing serious, it's probably not even there anymore. Those pics were taken last summer(2005) so it's definitly grown out, and now with all the wet-ness of snow melting, probably keeping his hooves moist. I think it would be great if you got Zen! He's SUCH a sweetheart! He loves people, and loves to play. Plus bringing more horses into the provience is a plus too! He would make a great eventer, or hunter, and he has such a beautiful trot and canter. moves so smoothly, probably would be good in dressage too. he's fun to work with, and a quick learner, so i'm sure he would be a fun project to work with, towards some shows! Zen loves his baby Casino haha, I love that pic of him and Casino. So cute
