Okay guys I wanna have a barefoot trimming clinic here but I need to know there is enough interest. These ladies are seriously the best in barefoot trimming(IMO). Once I fnd out prices I will let you know ASAP This is their site: www.equinextion.com/index.htmlSo, who would be interested? This is still VERY preliminary. "Friday: Know the Natural Foot Seminar. Video/slide show presentation, a look at the bones of the foot. Q & A on the Natural Foot/Horse and special trimming concerns. This session is intense and a minimum of 3-4 hours. I try to make this session different each time and direct it towards that nights participants. Saturday: We will work to set up the horse today. Hands on views for owners...possibly some hands on work. (Maximum 10-12 horses). We use digital pictures and/or video...discussing each individual horse (foot) as we go. We look at body posture and movement before and after. Also the muscles in the horse, how to check for pain or imbalances...etc. Sunday: Hands on participation from the horse owners on the Maintenance Trim. The owners get more hands on instruction and today we deal with the maintenance trim ...how best to use the tools.Participants are given a 'prescription' for their horse to follow upon leaving this clinic. More discussion on each horse as well as Q & A period. "

Depends on when they could come. Like I said it's very preliminary, just checking interest now.
It would be in St Johns.

Oay, Lisa is willing to travel to different barns(Within St. Johns/avalon).
There will be enough room for 10-11 horses minus my two, so 9. I'm pretty sure Jess will want to bring Fanjee out for this so I'm keeping a spot for her aswell.
If we do a seminar we will need a volunteer to allow us to use a room in their house or barn if w do the full seminar/clinic. We could do it at my house where Lisa will be staying but EVERYONE would have to stay the night(Which I could definialy accomodate) unless hey had rides.
Otherwise we could just do the hands on clinic.
Will update with prices when I get them.

Well you can go in the clinic and watch but if you don't have a horse you can't do the hands on stuff. Sooz, Gill if either of you want to use Joon you can but you'd have to come out to my house unless you wanna trailer her in. I'd trust you two with my girly.

aks- If it will cost you extra I would take one in for you. That is if I can make it out. I won't have a horse to take so one of your can be in the clinic with me if you want.
