I recently purchased a 2 ear headstall pictured below. i'm in the minsts of ordering reins for it but i'm not sure what color i need to order. chestnut or russet(light oil) ??

lets just all agree i'm not the best person to go to when it comes to saving money okay? but its not like its anything i dont use. i dont have a western headstall besides my nylon so it is a nessesity!  i dont usually buy things (okay.. duplicates of things mayyy be exsessive.. mind you all very fashionable  who said one horse doesnt need 6 coolers?!) unless it seems like a nessesity.. haha

LOL, 6 colors, hell, yourhorse has a bigger wardobe than I do! *jealous* Well, From what I can see from the picture, The headstall looks to be a light oil color? Russet is a rusty-ish color, So I vote light oil too.  This is russet; to better explain my thought,

I have a chestnut headstall and mine is darker than yours so id say that yours is a russet, light oil color.

Light oil gets my vote, if it's a shade or two lighter, it won't take long to darken to that shade.
