Does anyone know of a good reproductive vet for horses here in Newfoundland?

There may be someone in grand falls area? You could p.m Shelly on here, she tried to A.I her mare last year but I'm not sure of who did it.

Clarenville / central vet has A.I'd before. She's great to deal with.

Another couple of questions, sorry to hijack the thread. Anyone know they chances of a mare getting pregnant from AI? Does the owner normally have more than one sample (or whatever the right term is) shipped in? And with LFG that that apply to everything or just when the mare is confirmed in foal, and a live delivery is guaranteed.

As Long as you keep track of their hormone injections, ovulation, follicle size, cervex, ultrasound, etc (aka many vet appointments) its the same chances as getting pregnant through live. It's better to have cooled seaman then frozen. My friend in NS is doing AI to Qts MasterCard right now.

Out of the three mares done on the island last year. Kathie's Abby was the only one to have her foal
