This is probably a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone on here has dealt with an equine lawyer for things such as contracts, buyer agreements, etc. I guess equine lawyer is the right terminology, perhaps its large animal or agricultural? In any case, if you have could you post the contact info. I know there's not much of a chance of one being on the island, but if anyone has even dealt with a lawyer who was willing to deal in equine related issues that is on the island, that's be great too. And before the gossip starts flowing, I'm just looking to get proper contracts done for selling/boarding, etc in the future Thanks!

Can't a regular lawyer draw up the contracts according to what you want?

My uncle helped me with all of mine (lease agreements & sales) If I didn't loose everything off my computer I would send you them. It's just a matter of wording everything correctly, Initials, witness, dates and signatures. He did wonders helping me organize it correctly.
You only have to initial every page, however I wanted to make my first right of refusal pointed out so I made sure that Claus was initialed just to make sure it wasn't skimmed over.

I've been screwed over before with sales and agreements (but I can't argue that the end was not a great home for the horse in my case) even though I had legal rights to both. In the future I won't go through that fuss again, so I want to have everything in order just in case.
