Moving back to the west coast. Needing contacts for farrier in the area also looking for reining lessons to continue my horses progress and show information. I basically need back into the horse community 411. My horses will either be coming with me immediately or foothills will bring them in early june. Thanks

I thought you ment to say east coast of canada, but you ment west coast of newfoundland. Haha blonde moment, excuse me. Kevin dillion does some also from what i know, love his work, he does sox's feet, and is the only one who can do sox's feet, ( sox is a tad touch and go with stuff like that'! Hes great, cheap too hes on fb also, but i also have his phone number if needed!

Kevin is amazing - my mare can be very difficult with the farrier because of some awful experiences she has had. Kevin is wonderful with her every single time, taking time to make here feel comfortable, give her a break when she needs it and even coming back another day to finish the job if necessary. Not to mention he's never charged me an extra cent, even when it takes a bit longer than normal, or even for two trips.
I can't say enough good about Kevin Dillon as a farrier. I think You will get many many recommendations for him.
Cheers

Add me to the Kevin list. Excellent farrier, and excellent with the horses. And he's a nice guy to boot. I've never heard him sad a bad thing about anyone.

I'll third Kevin, great farrier, and a very, very nice guy. He always did Connor's feet until he moved out of province and did really well with him.

Kevin did our horses for years! excellent guy, did wonders for Josh's club hoof. I'd recommend him to anyone. Josh also had a bad experice with our first farrier being way to harsh, used to bust halters every time and kevin had patience to help get him over it.

I recommend Dean Rose 100%. He's a certified farrier and also does corrective shoeing. He hot shoes, but he can also cold shoe if need be. He's done an excellent job getting Katie's feet to where they should be and i wouldn't use anybody else on the island.

Kevin Dillon for farrier for sure.
As for a coach, I'm sure you already know that there aren't any on the west coast, the only ones who could help you are from the east. If your moving back before the end of July I would recommend the Travis clinic that Danielle Bartlett is organizing.

After seeing a bit of Travis's teaching on the weekend. I'd say take the clinic. His approach is quiet and relaxed and he can explain.
