Who does training in NL (Avalon) besides Katrina Butler? She is the only one listed on the NEA website, and I'm just looking for trainers with a different regime than Clinton Anderson.
And before dlavers, jobaggs, and the rest of her friends jump on me, I'm not bashing Katrina. From all I've read and heard her horses are doing great. CA is just not my thing, that's all.
I'm looking for maybe two rides per week starting this spring at my own barn. With kids and other horses, etc. I'd like to have someone work with Rodeo besides me that can bring him along how I want.
I'm also looking for someone english for Ted. Mikayla want to try english so I'd like some work put on him English. I would be willing to move him to another barn for some quality training.

I dont think there are many - Marah Gaudet was offering dressage training at Clovelly last I knew. Maybe Jess Anstey for english as well?

I know Marah gives lessons and also offers to ride your horse for you. I've done a few sessions with her so far and really enjoyed it. She's a dressage coach, though. Are you looking for English or Western?

I'd like someone western to co-train with me, if that makes sense? Someone to ride when I can't and who would ride and use the training techniques that I want used with my horse.
With English, I don't care. I'd like Ted started with the basics and then moved forward based on his ability and what he is suited for.

I would suggest Marah for English. She is a wealth of knowledge while she is here people should really take advantage of!
Erin does lessons at clovelly who I would suggest. She fallows the EC rider program but she doesn't train as far as I know. I would love to take rodeo for a couple months however I fallow CA methods.

Duh. Danielle Bartlett. GREAT idea dlavers. Danielle is totally brilliant, love her!!
Alida - I'm pretty sure she would. I dont think she is particularly tied to Clovelly in anyway.

I think Danielle follows CA as well, but I'm looking for someone "professional". Don't get me wrong Danielle is great. She leased my own horse when she was a little barn brat lol. Although seeing how well Vaquero is doing I wouldn't mind picking her brain about a few things. I think I'll see how he goes this spring now that the stallion has worn off, and go from there. See if I can go a summer without being bucked off and breaking a bone lol.
I'd still love to get Ted going english though. Who is Marah? Anyone have her contact info?
