Anyone know where I can get a few round bales? I just want the to toss out in the turnouts. I don't need a continuous supply or anything. Just 3 or 4 would be great.

Really tough to get this year if you don't already have some spoken for! I've heard of multiple suppliers that have had to cut regular customers because they could only supply for their own animals

Not that I know of Gill. I'll probably end up getting those big square ones if Gerald French has any.

Rodeo - I was up to Gerald's yesterday for sawdust. He has 2 of the large bales (not sure if he's getting more). They didn't look like they were good quality. A fair bit of black on them.

Gill, Kings doesn't have enough. Tammy, thanks. I have to go there for hay so I'll ask if he's bringing in more.

If your really stuck, I am planning on looking into pricing for large square bales through co-op. The shipping seems to usually be the killer, but if people are really stuck and would be interested I can certainly look into it and get an idea of prices.

Jenn, if you could do that, it would be great. I certainly don't mind paying for good quality hay, and something I could put out in group turnout would be great.

You can order it from NS. The square bales are $8 each delivered. I am not sure about round..should not be much more then if you got it local considering how much hay on the east coast costs anyway. lol.

Sorry should have said that ^, yes the large 4x4 bales.
Steph I'm heading to NS and NB for work meetings Sunday to Thursday. I've been speaking with a guy in the area about hay, I'm hoping to get a chance to squeeze that in while I'm there though I'm not 100% sure. I'll post here when I get some updates in case anyone else is interested!

Thanks a million!
Also guys, I know its expensive, but I bought some of the hay co-op has in from Ontairo. The bales weight at least 80 pounds and the hay is beautiful. My guys LOVE it.
